North Ferriby King Cobras? Win the Indian sponsorship race and get twin backing from Tiger Beer and Cobra Beer. Plus get every Indian restaurant in the country to give food poisoning to all premiership footballers except ours. Tomorrow the World.
I suspect this has become part of his long term plan and is no surprise to me what so ever. They can be our reserve team in part as the reserve league we are in is a shocker and is no good to anyone. The Barclays Premier reserev league set up is a joke and should never have been changed, I welcome this move by Allam.
Just heard this on RH and wondered why the report didn't connect AA with the new owner of North Ferriby ? Surely that's newsworthy ? Assuming it's true that he is related by marriage, I don't know this Stephen Forster fella...
It's certainly been mentioned by the Mail, their headline is 'North Ferriby United taken over by daughter and son-in-law of Hull City owner Assem Allam'.
He runs EON Media, who recently signed a business partnership with city. All getting a little incestuous no?
Just done a bit of quick digging. One post code in particular connects both men to the same residential address so the*relationship is verified. edit: * sorry a relationship of some sort
I know the manager and ex-owner of Ferriby. Apparently, the Allams ultimate goal is to get Ferriby into the prem. They're looking to invest a bit of money in them to do so as well.
Can we expect some of our younger ones heading their way? Surely we should start seeing some lads coming through the academy soon?
I spotted him going into Dene Park yesterday with a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. As for Ferriby, the ground improvements they speak of are adding new turnstiles, extra seating to the main stand and possibly temporary seating where the parking spaces are just inside the ground. They'll also need better car parking facilities, which might mean expanding into the playing fields, or moving the 3G pitch back to accomodate a new stand. All ideas that have been put forward. This announcement doesn't come as much of a surprise; Forster's company already sponsor the stadium so it was only a matter of time before he got involved in the actual running of the club. Wonder if this means Mussie will have to change clubs again; Bridlington Town?
The Conference has rules about loanees just as the FL does. It might be that some junior players have their registrations transferred if this going to be the case but that would mean new contracts, etc. But I'm sure AA has done his homework and planned ahead.....
It's hard not to. He behaves like a total dick. Why would I not have it in for a liar and coward like him?
Emotions are running high at the moment but resorting to name-calling and personal insults is not wise. Rise above it and keep your dignity.
