Nicked off twitter: Matthew Alrick Brown: Cheer up Spurs fans, if AVB continues to not work out even after big spending I hear this guy needs a job... please log in to view this image
Obviously AVB's tactics are better interpreted this way Clearly spurs players haven't got a clue what instructions he's giving out at the moment. Sign him up
He's disconcertingly vague from what I can tell. But he's laying on the doom and gloom now, saying that Spurs should just about avoid relegation as they're are at least 3 teams worse than them. Some snippets I enjoy: 1. Spurs haven't scored an open play premier league goal since 20th October (ie. at all in their last 4 league games). 2. Since Arsenal entered their negative spiral after losing 2-1 at the lane, Arsenal have gained 54 points with a GD of +28. While in the same time, Spurs have gained 38 points with a GD of +1.
I'm amazed the press have not made more of his negative spiral comment. Surely it is up there with Keegan and Hansen
I don't know. Whichever one it is, he'll have claimed the opposite at some point to try and save face.
Yeah, all good fun laying into Tottenham, but not sure I like the idea of Ches getting stuck in. Very unprofessional and setting himself up for a fall, also, can you imagine if City win the league on goal difference from us ? We would (rightly) get months of abuse about the Ches tweet in the same way we mocked Tottenham for the 1-1 Newcastle score. Enjoy the banter, but in life things can and do have a habit of biting you in the arse....
I haven't seen one of those before. Good graphic Although somebody needs to tell spurs they've just spunked £26M on a CM when they thought they were getting a striker.
Is it me or is Soldado a bit ordinary. For £26m you expect the player to do something special. I've seen nothing that would suggest otherwise.
Average player. Probably worth £12m - £15m at best, but Spuds got ripped off because they had the Bale money. It wasn't just by Valencia either. Several clubs milked them for their cash and palmed them off with average players for top dollar. When you look at the attacking players who destroyed them against City, Negredo and Navas in particular, and think that they were available when Spurs were pissing their money up the wall on the likes of Soldado, it shows you what a monumental **** up they made in the transfer window .... several times
Personally I ****ing love it that Chez is pissing himself laughing at the Spuds. He should get an account on not6O6, he'd fit right in on here
