Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage at his luxury apartment block.

Bendtner, 25, was held by police in Hertfordshire on Sunday in connection with damage to an apartment building where he lives in the Bushey area. Police said Bendtner has been cautioned - meaning he will not be required to attend court.

In a statement, Hertfordshire Police said: "A 25-year-old man from Bushey has been cautioned for criminal damage and is no longer in custody. He was arrested in connection with an incident which occurred at an address in The Avenue, Bushey, in the early hours of 24 November."

This guy is a proper clown and we still have him! Damn, we need some CF cover and off-load this goon asap.

He was probably playing football in the Garden, missed the goal and broke a neighbours' window

Apparently I thanked your post Piskie! Meant to say I thought it was funny but whatever...

As to Bendtner. Christ. He's got me to the stage that were I given the option to either signing one awesome forward in January or finally getting rid of him in the same month I'd actually have to think about it. I actually dislike him that much.

Yeah, but have you actually seen what he did? Not exactly what I'd call an arrest-able offence unless the full story isn't being reported. Trying to force open a door that you think is jammed and damaging it? Meh... hardly drunkenly assaulting someone

He's rubbish but no need to bash him with sensationalized rubbish.

Yeah tbh it sounds like he has a C**t of a neighbour who called the police on him. We've all had a ****ish neighbour who is too quick to call the police.

He damamged the door to the pool in his own block of flats and has paid in full for the damage. He was with his family at the time so it really doesn't sound like some aweful lack of discipline and don't think anyone at the club will be too bothered.

Meh, he's a cock-head of the highest order and I can't wait for him to be gone. He was inexplicably given a 5th chance to prove himself and he's mooned about the pitch looking like an over-weight samurai. To be honest, my dislike doesn't doesn't stem from him being rubbish but rather because he openly said he didn't want to play for us any more. The fact he is and being useless is what really grates. I could play and be useless and I'd do it for considerably less and at least look keen!

I don't care whether the bloke spat at his neighbour and pissed through his letterbox, the bloke is a prize **** regardless and has been a disgrace to the club for years, the sooner he ****s off for lower tier football and the 75% pay cut he deserves the better....

I'm still waiting for him to be charged with fraud for impersonating a footballer.
