Better than what we have so why not :)

Get rid of Shola and Lovenkrands' wages first would be my priority though were I manager!

A strikeforce of Best, Ba, Long, Lover, Shola, Nile and Samieobi would be immense. It would be even more immense if GAmmon was in there aswell

Getting him free, would be worth the risk imo. But do need rid of Loven and Ameobi first.

He comes across with a less than optimal attitude, and personalities who may wind up the squad, especially injury-prone players, is just not worth the bother IMO.

If he ends up playing as often as Viduka or Owen did, what use is that?

His reputation of having a bad attitude goes back awhile, including his approach to forcing his way out of Hoffenheim, and maybe even back to his time in Belgium.

What I don't get is how people criticise Gameiro saying if he doesn't rank us as his obvious #1 choice, then he's a heartless mercenary who won't "play for the shirt". But people want Ba, who's made it known for years he doesn't care who he plays for, as long as the pay is more, and his career will benefit

I can see why he wanted away from Germany though.
Have to agree with you about Gamerio :)

Not sure where this idea that he has an attitude problem has come from?

He seemed to work every game he played at West Ham. And that incident at that end of season dinner was quite obviously the fact a fan had had one too many drinks and was acting like a prick.

EDIT: Just saw it came from his previous clubs. Can't comment on that.

Great player, not ball greedy and can also provide assists through holding up the ball - Carroll style.

I'd be very happy with the signing, just the player we need imo.

We cannot rely on Ba alone for next season, injury prone and a BIG risk (if you ask me) so we really need to get another quality striker. I'm worried that AP and MA will just get him on a free then think that's all they need, well it's not good enough.

  20. This must sting for the mackems.

I still think we need 1 more striker. Ba and Best are two good strikers, but we need another or maybe another 2.

    Sturridge
    Ba
    Best
    Lover
    Shola

Would be a good pecking order.
