Yeh exactly, if I do lose my job then it'll make it harder for me to get a new one, especially one I want.

  2. Well, if you've already said then you'll just have to go with it. Just point out that you was never told and play ignorance. End of the day, they should monitor this stuff anyway, if you're only allowed two then two is all the should have sold to you at a discount.

With it being a first offence (I'm assuming here) then you shouldn't get anything more than a warning IMO.

It is my first offence, that's why I'm hoping of a warning. I think with all this that's happened it's made me want to get another job even more. <ok>

Yeah obv easier and better to get another job while employed

Could you get a moped? Loads easier than getting driving license

I say moped but you can get up to 125 so get that cc and get one that looks like a sports bike with the fairing on not a a normal moped

Think I'd do everyone a favour, no one likes him <laugh>

Anyway, enough negativity in the pub! Looking forward to Sunday, I know I'm off which doesn't bode well BUT! I didn't book it off, it's a normal day off so there is hope! <ok>

Not sure how the system works, but how did they let you do it in the first place if it's not allowed?
Anyway, hope you get it sorted ok.

It's because I don't work at the one near me, work at one about 10 mins anyway. So cause I put down deposits on two at the one near me, then I decided to do two more, I was at work that evening so just put two deposits down that day I was at work.

The way they see that though is that I've tried to somehow get a way round in buying more than one without them finishing out. When in all honesty I didn't know, if I did then I most certainly wouldn't have bothered.

    Ask them why.

They got their money so whats the problem?

I bet if you challenged it ( wouldnt advise it tbh, seeing as your manager is a **** ) they would have nothing to say to justify their nonsense 'rule'.

Why cant you sell them on either? I mean what does it have to do with them? Again they have their money so beyond that they have absolutely nothing to do with what you do with the items.

Where do you work btw? Argos or something?

    Sainsburys mate.

Everything you've said I agree with, but like I said, managers a **** and the store managers a bitch too so I doubt they'd give any sort of reason.

Chance are they'll pull the company policy ****e. get unioned up if you are not already. Being in retain however might make it very difficult.

Its funny how you might get sacked when the famous people hired by these companies sell on all the free stuff they get.
