Nah, there is funny and there is shockingly funny. He was just shocking. There was no humour in his performance at times. It's a shame as he can be really funny.

Harry Hill was surprisingly good in stand up.

One of the best things he said was the truest,

"Apparently you can tell a lot about a person ............ by how there are."

Had the privilege of seeing Bob Monkhouse, sheer brilliance, sharp as a tack and funny as ****, nothing like you see on TV. So, so funny but I also love Tommy Cooper, didn't have to say anything but he always had me crying with laughter.

To be fair, I did expect him to be like this, but he was far worse than I imagined. I met people there who are friends and they thought the same. The beauty of hindsight I suppose, as I wouldn't go again.

Donkeys years ago was the turn at a police inspector's do in a Middlesbrough catholic club. There had been a lot of robberies from fruit machines recently. Arriving on stage he noticed a large crucifix on the back wall. his opening line was "I see yrr've got the bastard who's been Robbin the bandits!!!"
