We need to step it up a gear, more banners, more CTWD, more protests, lets have this out now and stop the name change nonsense before it spoils the season, mass protests against Liverpool to force Allam into a rethink, then all unite behind the team staying up or it'll end in tears.

Maybe not but standing is an offence punishable by having one's son beat you up.

Got to say that I'm extremely pleased with the City Till We Die campaign. We couldn't possibly be represented by a better group of people, top work!

To play devils advocate - is it possible that the stewards felt the banner was against H&S, therefore tried to remove it... and the Allams (or other manager answerable to the Allams) said to leave it alone. Afterall, they allowed the CTWD banner in the first place.

Please don't just shoot this down as 'Allam's the devil incarnate'... we don't know what really happened, could we put the question to him? May be via the CTWD as there seems to be some open dialogue?

I am completely anti-name change but i do agree with this, but the statement today from CTWD was also brilliant and spot on.

This weekend has been awful on the pitch, but i think it may turn out to be a very successful one off it for us.

Why not just put "We love Dr. Allam" on the reverse? The stewards couldn't refuse entry, they couldn't stop it being displayed, it would get universal support from everyone in the stadium, and it would please and confuse our great leader. Perfect.

    It certainly did.

Is that chant offensive or confrontational as some people have claimed?

Is any relationship healthy when you can’t simply say no to a person or organisation?

People need to wake up. CTWD is not asking for the moon.

What a ridiculous statement!! Everybody knows Mr. Allam ordered the stewards to get stuck in and remove the banner, it's obvious......just ask PLT!!

    As he said:

"Genuinely don't know what you're on about here. Are you suggesting it wasn't Allam who told them to take the banner? Surely no one actually believes any other version of events?

There were other flags in the ground which weren't taken , and they're always there. Seems a bit of a coincidence that the one that Allam doesn't like is the one that gets removed. I find it utterly incredible that anyone would believe anything other than that he told them to remove it.

Only the incredibly biased could possibly believe that was anything other than a direct order from Allam. It's blindingly obvious."

The chant is certainly confrontational, there'd be little point in chanting it if it were'nt!

    I disagree.

Yes, it literally confronts Allam with the fans’ feelings.

But, in terms of common use, ‘confrontational’ is dealing with situations in an aggressive or hostile nature/manner.

“We say no Allam, we say no”

These words are not ‘confrontational’ and it is not a purpose of CTWD to attack AA.

I'm being pedantic, but confrontational also means argumentative and nobody can deny there is definitely an argument going on!

It simply states a collective point of view/feeling shared by the fans.

It would be beneficial if AA would reopen dialogue to enable a respectful argument though, rather than his recent dismissive comments to the media.

Why is it anti Allam? Is disagreeing being disrespectful?

    Not really.

It's anti Allam's proposal....we say no to it.

Because it's making us a laughing stock.

    I disagree.

Even the, "We say NO Allam, we say NO" chant isn't disrespectful in any way.

It's the supporters showing their opinion and unity on the subject.

Hardly anything to insult Assem at all.
