I'm told 1 in 3 Hull university students are Chinese. Which is surprising given how few foreign people there are in Hull in general compared to other big cities.
Update: Thanks for all the opinions, applied for it and today I got accepted for the course! Rejected from Sheffield and Oxford Brookes but Hull is where its at! Now to see if I get offers from Nottingham Trent and Brunel....
I'm applying at them moment as well and Brunel looks very good. It has great sport facilities and a lot of new buildings. They also have good resources such as Bloomberg terminals etc. but the fact it takes an hour to get to the centre of London is pretty annoying. Hull is a nice place and if I didn't live here I would definitely consider it for Uni. Good luck
One thing i've noticed is apart from The Lawns there isn't really any student halls for Hull Uni, here at UCLan there is literally student halls EVERYWHERE the campus is stupidly huge. Heard the Lawns are okay, but plenty of bad things about the student houses etc. If you go private housing or flats you can get some pretty nice ones.
