btw, strange feeling with Hull, think it is going to be a tricky game. I really hope I am wrong but just feel we may overlook them a bit, I hope we don't.

 

They are struggling to score (9 in 12) and have been conceding (15 in 12). We like to maintain possession and have the current top two goalscorers (both have 9) in the league at our disposal. It has the markings of a five or more to nil onslaught. So, I predict we nick a 2-0 win.

 

That's my worry. In the past we come up against a team like this who are struggling on both ends and voila, they score and keep a clean sheet. Hopefully we are turning that corner and teams are beginning to fear us again and with the focus of their backs on Suarez and Sturridge, hopefully our mids can start pitching in with more goals too.

 

i posted the last ten seasons earlier.... i did say +/- 1 game.... 68/69 could easily happen but usually cos nonody challenges for it

I really do like what MITO has done with these stats, and it is fun to look out and guess, Saint pretty much nailed what i was trying to say with regards to points tally this season, i really think we are looking at a totally new animal, i truly believe it will go down to last game for possibly two out of the four places maybe even the full three or four, ie 3 points separating 1-4 as no one is really setting the league on fire, therefore the points tally maybe the lowest it has ever been four the top four - prediction league required i am going to go for 65 will get you top four

Clearly we will now need a record number cause i am always wrong

 

I think this is right. it will go down to the last couple of games and whenever that happens its the tough side that can man up that gets the prize.

its a real test when things get tight and there's no room to make a mistake of course all this goes out the window. it'll the the side with real beleif and nerve that'll take 4th.

thats after all what tottenham failed at last year and really what utd have/had.
