I don't understand your point? Are you saying the banks went bust because the government didn't intervene in people's life enough?

And I don't know why you're saying that the world is ****ed up?

Last time I looked, Asian kids work harder than our kids at school and end up smarter than our kids, likewise, the Chinese and Koreans work harder than us and they're experiencing the kind of growth we as a country used to achieve when when we used to work hard.

No, I'm saying that leaving Tories like yourself to stuff your faces in the trough without intervention is bad for society because you never seem to know when to stop. You abuse the system. And before you deny it remember you've boasted on internet chat rooms before about avoiding tax so you actually stand as evidence of the abuse of immoral economics.

You don't think the world is ****ed up? You must have led a very sheltered life. Where do you live? Jane Austen World?

    Absolutely spot on Edge.

Tarquin and his ilk are all talk and no substance.

I mean could you really imagine The Ayrshire **** on the front? No he'd be waxing lyrical from his lonely Edinburgh ****ehole telling everyone how they should be doing it.

Try and reason with the **** and he just resorts to childish insults.

I actually feel sorry for you Tarquin.

I'm not a Tory and I don't stuff my face in a trough. I'm not some super rich public school boy. I grew up in Glasgow and left school at 15 with one standard grade ffs. Hardly a sheltered life, my mum works for a Trade Union and my dad has worked all over Europe for most of my life. The reason I bring this up as I've saw at first hand, that hard work brought rewards for us. Sure, it wasn't the best only seeing my dad 2 days a month, but it meant that, because of his sacrifice, we could afford decent things.

My personal tax affairs were and are perfectly legitimate and lawful and always have been.

You're the one that mentioned trough. It was hardly a good example considering it's connotations with greed.

I believe you about your taxes. Honestly, I do.

My tax is paid and is in order. I have the SA302's for the past 6 years to prove it.

Us hard working and trustworthy citizens eventually triump in the end.

People like Tarquin get caught out eventually.

You tell them Edge, every **** wants something for nothing. There is plenty of opportunity out there for people who are inclined to seek it, much of our current inequality (in the likes of Britain anyway) stems from the fact that not everyone is that way inclined, either through motivation, or general wits.
