Now this is a transfer rumour i'd like to see happen and quickly for two reasons.

    1. Maybe, just maybe Harry may shut the **** up about Gyan.
    2. It's another one of THEIR so called targets up the spout.

Tottenham will have to act fast if they want to secure the signature of French hotshot Kevin Gameiro.
Gameiro, 24, was one of the most prolific forwards in France last season scoring 22 goals for Lorient.
The French international has been strongly linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but he is also been chased by Paris Saint Germain and Valencia.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen to sign another big name forward and has been impressed with the performances of the talented striker.
Gameiro would prefer a move to PSG or Valencia, but the Spanish club are refusing to meet the £12m valuation that Lorient have demanded for his signature.
Reports in France suggest that Tottenham could overtake both clubs if they make the right offer over the weekend and a transfer could be finalised in the next few days.

Gameiro? Thought the mags had him in the bag?

Oh dear, things not going to plan up the road? Never mind. he would have struggled to get in ahead of those goal machines best and lovenkrands anyway.

Would be good news since Arsenal have just signed a striker too, would hope that would mean there is nowhere else Gyan could go because Liverpool, City, Utd and Chelsea don't want him and no-one else could afford his wages.

It could be good management on Bruce's part, keep quiet, don't fall out with the player, let the situation resolve itself in the knowledge that you were never going to let him go anywhere anyway.

I dont think there is a cat in hells chance of the club letting Gyan go. They must be aware of the feeling amongs fans following last seasons dip. Add to that all of the loan signings bar 1 going home then Henderson leaving.

I'm not aginst Gyan leaving if we brought in good replacements but for Gyan to leave now would be suicicidal for the club and its relationship with the fans and I do think that relationship matters to Quinn.

No. We never had him 'in the bag'. There was interest and a bid made (I think), but he's stated that he would much prefer PSG or Valencia. It was always unlikely from day one.
