He has apparently fell out with Bruce and co (according to the echo) because we got rid Muntari and Mensah.

If this is the case then he will be off because he is unhappy as he mates have left (the big baby). This raise the question should you sign rubbish and/or pay over the odds for players just to keep the good ones we have or sign the whole of the Gahna national team?

What's his problem? Did he move to Rennes to play with his mates and the same as when he was in Italy?

    Could be more problems ahead.

I know most don't want to sell him, BUT what would be a fair price for him.

Realistically, not Sturridge + 20m, like someone said yesterday.

Pav, hutton and niko for me. but would love to see Pav and Gyan play together. Reckon that would be a cracking partnership.

And what really big names would come to Sunderland when we won't pay big name wages.

They're stringing us along. Here we go again - pay peanuts etc.etc. etc.

Some of you really need to get your heads out of the clouds.

His best mate is John Pantsil who is currently on the books of Fulham, although not for much longer according to reports in the press. That is why he probably fancies the move to Spurs, to be in London.

Maybe he has just lost faith in us, and wants out. Maybe when he came here he was promised we were looking to recruit better players and to become a firmly entrenched team in the upper half of the table and he thanks that's not the case or maybe it's as simple as he wants more money.

Doubt we'll ever really know but at the moment it's all just speculation.

I've got this horrible feeling that his head has already been turned by the prospect of plying his trade in London. I don't think he will submit a transfer request because he sounds like an honourable guy, but if his head is down come pre season training time, I think the club may well cash in on him.

and if they do sell him without a replacement of at least similar quality signed up? ****ing hell I wouldn't even like to think of the nuclear fallout on that one.
