I like how you moved from your guess straight into factual..

but really the game would've changed dramatically ofcourse but I think VERY much in cardiffs favour. rather than the threat of conceding to man utd on the players minds which would in turn halt them from playing too aggressive they would've had free reign to do what they pleased.

you are really trying to clutch onto straws now and its getting slightly OFFTOPIC "ROONEYS A C*NT"

So what you're saying is that two wrongs make a right?! Hmmm, it's like being on the playground all over again...

Yes Rooney should have been sent off, and yes so should Medel, and yes if those decisions had been made correctly then the game would almost certainly have panned out very differently. Although no one will know which way it would have panned out - I remember a couple of seasons ago when we spent 75 minutes huffing and puffing against Bolton, then Evans got sent off and we won the game with a late goal. Could well have been exactly the same here.

But sorry, I'm veering away from the topic of this thread, which is quite clearly "BOO HOO UNITED, ROONEY <wah> <wah>"

I also fail to see how the word cheat can be applied to his actions. Rash, rush of blood to the head, most teams have players who are capable of doing this, off the top of my head given the man culprits crying their eyes out on here are Liverpool fans and the OP, I would suggest Suarez and Bellamy.

However, cheating is deliberately attempting to gain advantage by breaking the rules.

So, unless you're telling me Rooney was thinking 'what I'll do here is kick out and NOT get sent off and so therefore having not been sent off I gain deliberate advantage, yeah that's what I'll do' then it wasn't cheating, it was just a foul.

Like all the other fouls in the game.

It didn't get the punishment it warranted but that's just life mate, welcome to the premier league. A league in which referee's **** up big style in all games on a weekly basis.

They don't seem welcome on the whole forum at the moment!

You know, I wasn't even going to deem it worthy of my time to note it happened but thank **** that halfwit Matth has gone. At least there is some hope that we can talk football without it turning into a playground.

And by ****, after the utter shambles of yesterday we've plenty to discuss.

I lost sympathy with Matth and him playing the victim a long, long time ago now particularly seeing him on the other forum.

On football related matters though as I really dont want to talk about him :

Felliani really worries me. I'm all for giving players time as long as they give some sort of indication that they are capable of improvement. Firstly, he has hasn't shown me anything that would make me think he's a footballer let alone good enough for United. Secondly, when you're paying around £30m for a player should we really be expected to give sometime time to prove they have quality ?? Time to adapt yes, time to prove your not totally **** ? no.

The lad is dog **** to be honest.

so rooney didn't deliberately kick the legs right out from Jordan mutch due to being bested by him in the race for the ball? yes yes I can look at something you have said in a completely 1 dimensional tunnel vision manner and come out flawless in logic too.

I do agree with you it is life and fouls are committed all the time I didn't come here in hope to change things or to .prevent anything for the future I do know you guys do not work in the FA..lol..I came here to see your reaction to having such a despicable excuse of a team that is carried by such scum.

    That is all!

how you guys can even try to claim rooneys impact wouldn't have seriously hampered your chances of even a point is beyond me! yes there are counter attacks and there are 10man turn arounds but not when your ONLY threatening player is removed from the equation...no RVP AND no Rooney = very very average team to beat never mind a 10 man team..

    THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT

Maybe , but then again all UTD had was Rooney , without him you would not have gained that point.

What the **** does bested mean?

I think the word you're looking for is bettered.

And yes, he did kick him deliberately and it still isn't cheating.

    <ok>

It's not like Rooney did it in a sly hidden way, it was clearly just lashing out, any blame that might get thrown around should be squarely at the ref. If he seen it then he bottled it and if he didn't then the FA's new rules allow action to be taken. Either way it's hardly cheating and as said really, it was really stupid, he almost let the team down big time there.

    He did, you're right.

The inference that United are cheats by some gob ****e because a ref failed to do his job for God's sake.

Well done, you got your draw, it might have been a win on another day, might not.

Now, kindly **** off to your backwater and come back when you've done something in football.

I see...I misunderstood thanks for correcting me. So if a player cheats and the ref gets it wrong it is no longer the player cheating its the ref's fault and that is final ... gotchya.

and who said manure supporters were muppets! these guys WROTE THE RULE BOOK

It's not cheating because Rooney, nor United would have gained anything from it. He didn't try and con the ref or gain an unfair advantage. He lashed out of frustration, and was punished for it. It should have been a red, but that's hardly Rooney's, or Manchester United's fault now is it?

Had Rooney deliberately handled the ball or dove to get a non existent foul called, then yes he would be cheating.

Not sure about Welsh but in English the word cheat means seeking to gain unfair advantage like diving for a penalty, handball or even calling for a throw in when you know the ball came off you last. What advantage did Rooney gain from kicking the player in the situation they were in? foul play yes, cheating grow up!
