Totally agree...cannot believe a true Hull City fan would say anything like this>>>MODS, we seem to be good at banning people for inappropriate/offensive dialogue. Here is your chance to MOD properly and effectively (not that you may not have been before)

Assem Allam decides to completely withdraw his support from the club....NO MORE MONEY. NO new players in January, no new contract for Aluko, no new players next Summer or any other window. From then on it will be run on a complete shoestring, every single penny we earn from the Premier League will be swallowed up by the owner until he has recovered as much of his investment as he can possibly get. That will take 4 years, until the parachute money runs out. Then, depending on how vindictive he is he may decide to sell the club, he may decide to keep it but again with no financial input whatsoever. THAT is reality. He can do it. So when you are planning your NEXT strategy to escalate the protest still further, bare in mind what state the club will be in in 4 years time if Assem Allam does what he is legally entitled to do, and weigh that up against the warm feeling inside you have that you beat him over the name of the club." Well said Strovolos (I can't find your original quote so copied this). The ridiculous "protest" at the game yesterday, seen around the world, is making the Club and all of us a laughing stock. I'm becoming seriously concerned that this stupidity and the vicious insults hurled at the Allams, who saved the club from bankruptcy, will cause them to decide to hell with it and really walk away. Then what???? Who will you blame next while you sit among 3000 crowds in Div 2 or the Conference with no money and watching Sunday League football. ??? Who will want to buy us??? THAT IS REALITY as Strovolos says. Wake up before its too late. The arrogant few risk ruining everything ...for WHAT???
I didn't see the stewards, players, manager and back-room staff 'vociferously making their voices heard'. Am I missing something or is it now lost that we are customers? Perhaps we should start deleting all reference to supporters and insert customers, because it seems that it is not only AA whose has lost sight of that very simple but important fact.
I think there's only been one ban this year, and that wasn't for offensive dialogue, but that aside, I'm waiting for Ben to respond, because, as daft as it sounds, based on some of his other replies I suspect his post isn't quite as has been interpreted.
It is not an arrogant few as was demonstrated yesterday. A significant number of Hull City supporters made their voices heard and they don't want a change of name. After months of people saying we had no support we now know we have. Do you really believe Assem Allam will throw away his grand children's inheritance because he couldn't get his way over Hull Tigers. Do you really think his children will continue to pump millions of pounds into Hull City every year when they inherit the club? We have an owner that wants European football and to be the first Hull City chairman to achieve it. Do you think at his age he is really bothered about getting his money out? If he was we'd have followed the Blackpool and Reading route. We'd have kept our championship team and hoped we'd stay up. If we didn't he'd cash in the premier league payments, give himself a dividend and try again. He doesn't need the money but does want Europe. He also wants us to be self-financing so his legacy isn't dependant on his children. He knows what happened under Christopher Needler. He thinks the name change will bring in enough to make Hull City independent of his family. Listen to his interviews, its all there. The problem is how to achieve that. Talking to the council, looking at investment from Hull City fans, like Swansea, increasing the commercial revenue, making the most of the concourses and shops is all ways of generating money for our club. All of which is more concrete than changing the name to Hull Tigers in the hope that some Asians will be so impressed they will give us millions. We are not bullying anyone, we are saying we don't like the name change and making our views known. I hope that after yesterday Assem Allam is prepared to sit down with us again and discuss a way forward which gives us all what we most want and allows us to get back to watching City stay in the Premier League. Whether he does or not is up to him.
Yeah, well spotted, I missed the word 'Marine' between the words Allam & employees, I'm sure others knew exactly what I meant though
Have CTWD done anything about this. Emails and complaints have been sent to the FA but have hundreds of emails gone to Brady Geraghty the Lib Dems and the Conservative councillors urging them to do something?
Chazzster, don''t be silly. It's not HCCs fault, they're doing a great job for the citizens of Hull in difficult and trying circumstances, they're the victims not the villains here. Plus of course, CTWD is just there to try to gently persuade our owner, who is portrayed by their supporters as evil, to not destroy the club by changing the name, then, maybe, later on, for them to part own the club. Their role isn't to harass innocent representatives of the people.
Such as? Sounds like pouring petrol on the flames to me, but if there is anyone Allam will listen to, then its worth trying to involve them
What AA knows is that most supporters want to see PL football and as long as he is delivering this and financially supporting the club, their attitude is ok then we wil not oppose you even if we would prefer City, so it is not AA V Hull City supporters. It is AA v A Minority Faction of implacably opposed supporters. With January transfer window looming and the season of goodwill I think supporters need to unite and back the Allams as well as the team even if they disagree with his approach to change the club name. Divided organisations always fail, that is an unfortunate fact.
Erm... I think a fair few haven't gotten Bens post. Haven't you seen what he's been posting the last week or two? I fear the perpetrator of the 'cancer' comment lies a little closer to home with regards the side of the fence you are sitting on.
If that's the case then maybe he should make it clearer, and the second part of your post makes little sense to me
This is a question directed to a specific poster, funny how he hasn't replied don't you think? I do ****, but that has nothing to do with this post, You're correct though to describe our owners as a "cancer" is unbelievable. Maybe you should pay more attention to what others post & the differing values that they display. Maybe you should send your 70s & 80s bovver boys round to give me a slap. Prick It's Sir Ben to you ****tard. I need no slack I'm big enough to stand by my posts. There's a specific thread for ban requests. Make yourself look like a bigger **** & use it. Referring, disgusting, unwarranted. I agree, a true Hull City fan would not describe our owners as a "cancer". Funny you should mention bans, but would you believe the knob who described our owners as a "cancer" the very next day requested that TWF be banned for his despicable comments. DMD on the money, carrying out your duties as you should & not buckling to reactionary no nowt ****tards. On the money Chazz, love you x. No all, see Chazz. Doh!! Couldn't believe it myself when I saw the original, terrible. Now the explanation, not that you deserve one, but I'm nice so I will. There are a few posters on here who last year posted vile **** aimed at our owners when NB was sacked. Others questioned their motives & suggested they go immediately. Many of these posters are now happy to defend our owners to the hilt for changing the name of the club that the great NB played for & managed. What has changed in the interim? Surely they can't all be fair weather PL fans, can they? My post was a question aimed at Circa (Pi as he is now) who last year posted this tripe aimed at our owners:- "THey need to go, get rid of the cancer asap even if it means struggling next year " I was simply asking if this was still his view. No need to thank me for highlighting how much of a lowlife he must be to refer to our owners in such a way. Tickler was another, he also chose to ignore his previous posts when they were presented to him last week. Funny isn't it? What you need to be asking yourselves is "who'll be the next to be outed?". For the record I support our owners, I appreciate what they've done. I believe without them there'd be no Hull City AFC to support. I appreciate what they continue to do. I do not agree with the proposal of changing our club name to Hull City Tigers or Hull Tigers. There is no reasonable explanation as to why it would be good for the club. The idea has already spoiled for many, on both sides of the fence, a large part of what should have been a most enjoyable season. Questioning our owners is not wrong, it should be welcomed by them. Of course some support him whatever he does, I'm fine with that, It's the ones who only question him when we're not in the PL that I have an issue with, I mean is NB really bigger than the name of the club? Support the owners, not the name change. Love to you all, even the ****s. xx
