OT- Time Travel - is there proof out there?

I'm having a ponderous afternoon here lounging in my Cheick Tiote PJ's and I started thinking about the possible existence of time travellers.

If you could time travel....... where and when would you go?

Me... I'd travel back to Dallas in 1963 and watch the assassination of JFK first hand.... just to prove it was the triangulation of crossfire.

I don't believe in time travel but if I did I would want to visit Leonardo da Vinci workshop and watch the master paint.

This bloke looks as though he has clocked up some decent time travelling miles

 

I think if it's discovered in the future, they'd most likely come to the conclusion that it's far too dangerous to use, so the technology will be disposed of.

 

Or hidden.
There's always someone who will see a way to abuse it.

 

Why not do the next best thing and come and watch me decorate the cottage I'm working on. The plaster will be dry on Wednesday, skirting boards fitted on Thursday so painting starts Friday.

Well, according to all sorts of stuff it is possible. We know that we can make time travel more slowly locally The trick is to make it stop and go backwards.

I suppose that's in theory possible if you move faster than light as time effectively moves at the speed of light and so Speed * Time = c Hence the reason wjy the time elapsed when you're whizzing around at speed is less than being at standstill. So, go faster than light and then, yes, you can go back in time.
