We're not biting, we're just using your pathetic bait as an excuse to take the piss out of you.

Keep it coming, eventually you're bound to say something funny even it's by accident.

Hope so RAW. The footballing gods do seem to have it in for us recently. A lot of the recent damage at the club has been self-inflicted but getting constantly kicked while we're down is just boiling my piss now!

If Friend did actually say it to Adam, it's a ridiculous statement to make and I think he (Friend) is looking to justify a poor decision, I can only think that he reasoned the tackle dangerous at the time.

Adam said that Brown caught him, I have watched it a dozen times and can't see any contact, Friend seemed to take an age to make the decision, my question is why did the linesman or the fourth official who were both on the spot not speak to Friend or why did he not contact them for their opinion, they are all in contact electronically and they consult each other during other incidents.

My honest opinion is that, for whatever reason, Friend was looking to send Brown off, there is no other explanation for his incompetence.

There really isn't a vendetta NMG, other than the endless crusade you have against everything NUFC.

Of your recent red cards Wes Brown was a hideous decision (not much complaint or disagreement there) and Cattermole was harsh - but you see them given. The others (and there have been a few this season) have been warranted so far as I can remember.

As for Newcastle I don't think we've been particularly lucky or unlucky this season, yesterday being a case in point. We have a perfectly good goal ruled out for an incorrect offside but because we go on to win anyway no-one complains much. It's still a bad decision against us though.

    Exactly.

There was no follow through and BESIDES, it's a ****ing contact sport ........ contact doesn't automatically make it a foul does it?

Almost every tackle involves contact, if it doesn't then it's a ****ing INTERCEPTION <doh>

(The <doh> isn't directed at you btw, it's for Friend.)

If that was even a foul we may as well make the game non contact and turn it into an exhibition rather than a contest.

I would never have been on the pitch if referees took that stance in my day.
