Thanks for a decent reply. So if you were AA and wanted an exit strategy what would it be?

Why do you put your faith in someone you seem to consider disloyal, unstable and vindictive?

That's precisely why it would never happen in that way, precisely why he either goes and is paid back what he's owed, plus profit, or stays and retains autonomous control.

There is no middle ground, no matter what anyone else, group or otherwise, may think.

If he wants to he'll find a way to screw us.

FOr some reason CTWD are stupid enough to try and call his bluff thinking their actions cannot possibly result in any bad consequences.

(Sorry, mate - was out with my dog and just found yr post)

You might be right. Who knows. The good Doctor would appear to have put a lot of backs up with his evasions and his dismissal of the (200) minority ranged against him. Not to mention the obvious lies. Nor his apparent inability/disinclination to discuss, debate and possibly achieve a compromise.

Perchance he hath burnt his bridges.....

I think thats a great post.

I did sing city till I die then I always join in with the singing.

And I did try block the stewards way off so they couldn't get to the flag .

I would rather have Hull Tigers with the Allams.

Then no name change and no Allams .

    That's all

I'm not asking anything, I'm saying your response was expected.

And i disagree , that question is very relevant because this whole debate isn't about finances or business. It's about values and how far you're willing to go fight for them. Some are willing to sing for them. Some are willing to challenge the owner directly. Some feel those values aren't worth fighting for if it means our club crumbling.

If you change the circumstances, your resolve to keep those values changes. If this was his only condition to buy and save the club, you'd be shaking his hand twice and welcoming him.

If Allam was willing to accept Hull City Tigers as a compromise how would you feel about it?

You didn't click the 'like' button Chaz ;)

As I've said, there is NO middle ground, he either stays and does things his way, like it or not, or he goes with a buyer in place that will refund his current financial commitment plus profit.

Unfortunately I'm not AA or things would have been done differently, therefore I don't have an exit strategy, but I only envisage, with regard to one, that there is only simply either A or B as above.

Anyway people need the rid themselves of any misguided conception that you can simply walk away from guarantees, they are a legal obligation, you can't.

I think I can see why I was confused.

I wouldn't be shaking his hand if that was his only condition, especially not if his PR was the same as its been this time round. Others certainly feel differently as they explained the other times that question's been asked in these discussions.

Aye, not that I have to qualify that to you. Folk who start off with 'Not being funny' usually are. You have to be either blind or daft if you don't know where the directors box is and you have been going for years. Don't pick an argument, there's no point. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Can I just ask you a question that requires an honest answer?

Are you not concerned of what might happen to the club? or do you simply think that keeping the name is more important than any potential backlash that may happen?

Is the integrity more important than the most successful spell of our club to you?

One thing is for CERTAIN, never have I seen such disastrous PR from any company EVER. In sitting next to Pappa and nodding their heads in agreement with whatever comes out of his mouth the Allam 'PR machine' have secured/hung on to their positions, but at what cost to AA himself?

Perhaps now he should sack them!

He could leave because of the abuse he getting thrown at him....

I think he could claim the fans are being disloyal vindictive and unstable after everything he has done.

Anyway I hope he stays at the Club.

If there was a vote would vote no to the NAME change.

Truth is it's just not that big a deal to some .

    We are ALL supporters though.

    Have a good week everyone...
