Can FA look back to the accident again and punish Rooeny? he has been punished for the action with a card, so FA can' do nothing about it? right?,

I don't know, but Moyes needs to give him a bit of a slap, could have cost us.

No the rules have changed, meaning they can now punish people that have been carded.

I suspect no action will be taken even with the rule change.

the ref seemed like he felt he made the right decision. stupid from Rooney though. Not seen it from his for a while.

Makes sense, though I am surprised the FA have brought that in, gives them less excuse to do **** all.

I thought that is applied only on decisions which were not seen not the ones which were punished by a card
did FA changed a yellow into a red before?

Action must be taken. He clearly lost his temper and deliberately lashed out. He'll get a ban for sure.

He probably won't to be fair, but deserves it. If they intend to implement this new rule, surely he has too...

The new rule has only recently come into play.

It'll be one of those spur of the moment rules the FA brings in to suit. It'll never be used again.

Its the FA. The A stands for 'all' <ok>

They would never take retrospective action against Man Utd such as banning Wayne Rooney for swearing for example <ok>

    hahaha .. @post 92
regarding the recent amendment not sure it can fit
    here is the text

I think the referee had a good look at it otherwise how on earth he judge it worth a yellow !! are you suggesting he given a yellow without watching the action and knowing if rooney fouled him or not? he will be shooting himself if he decided to change his opinion
the main QS is was his view obscured? doubt it

Clear corner for Cardiff unsurprisingly not given, even without old bacon face United still cheating their way to victory
