So why now are CTWD wanting to own part of the club?

Hull City Tigers Limited, though that seems totally irrelevant to me, nobody gives a **** what the company name is.

Because AA said he wanted us to come up with ways of generating more revenue and he also said he very much wanted fans involved in the ownership of the club, so we're working on what he requested.

May seem irrelevant to you, but I doubt it does to the players. Or the rest of the staff. You may be wealthy enough to be able to spit your dummy out over a name change and walk away from your job, but I doubt if many other people can. If Allam walks away it will cost jobs. That should be on your conscience, but I doubt it will be.

The problem with that is that your "not tolerating bullying" is not only affecting you, it affects all of us. If you refuse to give in we may very all have to pay the price and the price will be worse than you being bullied.

That is what I can easily see happening. Assem Allam decides to completely withdraw his support from the club....NO MORE MONEY. NO new players in January, no new contract for Aluko, no new players next Summer or any other window. From then on it will be run on a complete shoestring, every single penny we earn from the Premier League will be swallowed up by the owner until he has recovered as much of his investment as he can possibly get. That will take 4 years, until the parachute money runs out. Then, depending on how vindictive he is he may decide to sell the club, he may decide to keep it but again with no financial input whatsoever.

THAT is reality. He can do it.

So when you are planning your next strategy to escalate the protest still further, bare in mind what state the club will be in in 4 years time if Assem Allam does what he is legally entitled to do, and weigh that up against the warm feeling inside you have that you beat him over the name of the club.

So now if AA spits his dummy out, it's my fault?

He's doing something stupid, he should stop doing it, rather than trying to blame most City fans for disliking his stupidity.

Do you see fans having a stake/input into how the club is run as a problem?

I haven't got a clue what would happen, we've never discussed it, you'll have to go find another ****ed up conspiracy theory to keep your tiny mind occupied.

I posted something similar on another thread.

Everyone's enjoying throwing mud at each other on here for what they believe - but the reaction at the crowd yesterday was not those of a few mouthy people on a message board.

Football is full of traditionalists. There is not a football club in the land that wouldn't have a section of it's core support actively and vocally against a name change. If Allam is prepared to walk over that - then we were f**ked the minute he chose this course of action.

If you honestly thought that a club could put a name change through without protest, then you're living in a dream world. It would happen anywhere.

If Allam doesn't have the advisors to warn him of that - then we're screwed because he didn't hire the right people.

Assem Allam is not a porcelain doll. He's the chairman of a football club. It's like's a politician now. He needs to keep US on side, not vice versa - that's how politics works.

He may have loaned us £60m, but if he's so fragile to walk over this - then he would have walked over something else before long. You can't be right all the time. In which case, we were f**ked whether he took us over or not - he only delayed the inevitable.

How many of you criticising the fans have complained (rightly) in the past about the Morgue that is the KC? The Anti-name change protests were some of the loudest I've heard at the KC in years. There was something the fans were passionate about.

You can't push people to be passionate about something, and then expect indifference when you put something controversial forward.

You're talking like it's OLM v AA and that's ridiculous.

It's AA v HCAFC supporters and the sooner he comes to that realisation, the better.

I think that would be great as long as the supporters are properly elected representatives and not self-serving devious people on a power trip.

OLM refers to Company name; you appear to believe he's talking about the playing name.

We're not friends or family, I have never claimed to represent you or anyone else on here, so why are you embarrassed; annoyed, frustrated, disappointed even, but embarrassed? If you are embarrassed by me then you must be really cringing at the actions of your football club's chairman. <laugh>

Do you think it likely Assem Allam will wake up one morning having had an epiphany and come to the conclusion he has been stupid? If the answer to that is no, at what point will you give up? Will you continue until everything that has been built over the last 10 years has been destroyed?

A bit defensive there. I have no problem with CTWD wanting this by the way. As i said to accuse Allam of dishonesty but behave in the same way says a lot

Yes, because you would rather ruin it for all of us, than have a minor name change. You'd rather kill the club than change the title. Selfish in my view, but I know we have very different moral values. I respect your right to protest, but don't expect me to like it or thank you for the damage you are causing.

Agreed. Do you feel the people behind CTWD are self serving devious people on a power trip?

You just defeated your own argument. A club is more than a name it is primarily the supporters.
