Are you talking about the situation where the club is still in existence ? Because I agree, that situation is 100% of his making.
in other words, people shouldn't fight for what they believe in, they should just take it up the arse.
I know I was there yesterday. Were you ? (For the record, seen every single game there since it opened bar one (unavoidable work situation) (friendlies, meaningless league cup games, testimonials, U21s, English League v Italian Leagues etc- regardless of attractiveness of opposition) Let me know how your record stacks up against that.....
Personally I find AAs presence at the ground offensive, as he neither knows the game or the name of the team he is watching; to compound that he sits in the gods looking down on those he lies to with such bare-faced ease. It has been distasteful for a long time.
He's never going to get back his investment. However, he can cut his losses. Don't underestimate the actions of a wounded football chairman.
Depends on what it is now, he thinks it's currently Hull City Tigers. CTWD was formed to oppose the name change from Hull City AFC to anything else, if he keeps Hull City AFC, then there's nothing to campaign against.
Not at all, as I said I was on my feet yesterday supporting the right of those people to air their views. But you tell me, honestly, seeing as you have first hand knowledge of those concerned, where do you see this ending? Yesterday was a big escalation in hostilities. Unless somebody backs down that will continue until the club is destroyed.
Couldnt have put it better myself. The embarrassing thing about yesterday is that the crowd was at its loudest for the stupid protest but when the team needs the crowd to be supportive in the last 15 minutes and when they go 1-0 down, thats when everyone goes quiet or starts getting on the players back by moaning and jeering
Agreed – I seriously thought Craig was some student kid studying in Notts until fairly recently.
Or streaming for the exits when the game's still not decided. Probably the people who 'just want to see a match' rather than City supporters.....
I believe AA is completely unreasonable and completely irrational, so I'm obviously aware how difficult and unfortunate this whole situation is. But I still hope, that when AA realises that the majority of fans are against him and then finds the authorities are also against him, he'll realise that he's just ****ing everyone off for no good reason. The only problem then is getting out of it without losing face, which we'd be more than happy to help him with. There is a risk that he might(once again) throw his toys out the pram, but I've never been bullied by anyone in my life, I'm not about to let it start happening now.
