I asked a simple honest question and you've all thrown your toys out of the pram. What great, gracious, warm and welcoming supporters you liverpool fans are
If you wish to discuss our views of either Utd or Arsenal then strat a thread to do that and don't merely attempt to hijack one in which we are discusing the changes that have happened to OUR club over the last 12-14 months. Any comments about other sides are illustrative and therefore NOT the focus of the thread. TBH I don't care what you want. This is an LFC board so that we can discuss our own issues.
You do realise that you could have just answered the question and then continued discussing the article instead of causing a pointless argument?
It only took until the 19th post while other posters continue to try and ridicule me for daring to ask a question. If the question had just been answered and left at that then people could have continued discuss the article, instead the article has been ruined by a pointless argument. All I did was ask a question and people created an argument out of it thereby ruining "their own" thread.
You do realise you could have minded your own ****ing business and pissed off back to your own board before all of this got out of hand? Typical, always blaming someone else aren't you.
I'm so sorry for daring to ask a question almightly one. Touchy little git aren't you? Instead of just answering the question you'd rather cause an argument, how sad.
I agree with that,if this thread descends into arguements,I'll have no choice but to close it.It started as a decent thread, comparing this summer to last. I'll use an example. The comparison to the quality of players,we're now linked with compared to last summer.Last summer,It was Carlton Cole,Zoltan Gera,Danny Murphy and Paul Scharner.''Spud'' was ''Liverpool class'' years ago,but not now by any means.Things as I said and the OP has said have changed for the better, and long may it continue.
There is no need to close the thread, lets all give jimbo what he never gets in the real world, a big hug, tell him we like him and he is welcome here anytime. Then he will be happy.
And it would have contuined that way if people had just answered my question instead of causing an argument. Liverpool have certainly got things under control now and will (should) be challenging for the top 4 next season. It will be tough for you though because there are now 6 teams who will be challenging for the top 4, depends who everyone buys and whether those players gel together. Have to wait and see.
MUFC Jimbo. Firstly the OP never mentioned Manchester United or Arsenal. So how is that relevant. It descended into arguements after the second or third post. This was a Liverpool article concentrating on Liverpool,so why get involved when it doesn't concern you? This is what caused the arguements.
I asked a question, that was it. A simple answer to my simple question would have sufficed and there would have been no pointless arguement. You are allowed to asked questions on another team's board you know, it's part of debating.
I'm going to have a read through the initial posts and then see where Manchester United and Arsenal mentioned, and then decide whether or not to close it. I think this has descended into arguements for no particular reason, and you can't have that on this forum.I was right,The OP mentioned two clubs just two that he thought Liverpool would still have less than, and you butted in ''No Manchester United and Arsenal''. The OP was being as balanced as possible. He was using examples and didn't have to mention the whole top six.Why should he? A Man United fan said so?
I asked a question about the original article, is that not allowed? I don't see how asking an honest question can cause offence, it's not my fault you all took it the wrong way and created a needless argument which ruined this article.
