Good grief, we agree on this, Trotsky Of course you do; why not? Let him, it's what you want in a fight and wee are in a fight - does anyone who supports the campaign have any doubts about that? Exactly.
If Allam decides to go he will make sure it's when the split is most lucrative for him. He may for instance help the club survive this season and quit in the summer with a legal claim for next season's EPL money, any subsequent parachute payments if we're relegated and of course any other assets including the sale of players. No one will consider buying a club in such debt that doesn't even own its own ground. The end result will be melt-down.
He doesn't have to go anywhere. He can put the club up for sale like Bates did at Leeds and in the meantime take all of the EPL money to repay his financial investment. If we go down he takes the parachute money while selling off the players.
We owe nearly £80 million to a man in his 70s. Do you know how his family feel about his investment in Hull City? You are right the only way he or his family could sell Hull City is by writing off a large part of the debt. The only people who would honour the debt, in my view, would be the fans. He saved our club and his family deserve their inheritance back. You are wrong though about the value of the club. A Premier League team with guaranteed parachute payments with the bulk of the debt to the owner is valuable. The only negotiation being over how much of Assem Allam's loan is written off. My personal view is I want him to sit down with the fans and sort this mess out and stay as chairman.
The club's parachute payments could end up going straight into Allam's pocket to repay part of his loan. So considering parachute payments only come into effect if we're relegated, a new owner would be buying a debt-ridden Championship club without parachute payments.
No, our view is that it's a ****ing stupid thing to do. Are you going to post anything about noisy minorities today, like normal?
Sorry Barclay's Premier League. The Scottish Premier League is commonly known as the SPL so many people refer to ours as the EPL rather than including the current sponsor's initial.
It's a unifying cause Comrade Fez. Yesterday galvanised and brought many from off of the fence and many out of their shell.
Seeing the support during the match yesterday has made me a lot more confident in CTWD and the whole protest's chances at success, I couldn't believe how many within the Stadium, from all Stands, were involved. I still think CTWD need to think of something more eye-appealing for the fans to hold up to get it onto the cameras. There was even as much as a slight glimpse towards the fans on MOTD. Sort of similar to the "1904 - City Till I Die" posters that were handed out a few weeks ago, and the black and amber cards given out by the Club at the Cardiff game last Season. More press = more resistance.
But she'd be fully entitled to if she owned everything and you owned nothing. Which is the situation here. We don't own the club. Didn't realise I had to remind so many on here.
