I think you may need to retract that one!!! That aside, in 2010 Strauss (110), Cook (235no) and Trott (135no) amassed 517-1 in the second innings to save the first test. Cook and Trott put on an unbeaten 329 for the second wicket. Can lightning strike twice??
Oops!! This has been coming since SA mauled us last year ... team has gone backwards under Cook, could only beat NZ (ranked 8) once in six Tests, Aus were shocking over here. Time for Flower to go I feel, and Cook needs to wake up fast.
Australia have not lost at Brisbane since 1988 when they lost to the West Indies Since then they have won 18 and drawn 7 in 25 games!!
That's the only reason they start the Ashes series at Brisbane because of their great record so on the same note we should start it here at Edgbaston where we have a superb record.
