Nah Groves was ****ed, admittedly it should have been left to run - but Froch was about to finish the job, no problem. Groves took about 4 or 5 hammer blows to the head.
Froch was about to knock him out properly, he was wobbling after 4 or 5 heavy punches from Froch. The ref has to make a decision somewhere along the line, we don't want another Michael Watson. Right decision.
Bollocks. Every boxer interviewed and every pundit said it was a crap decision. It was about the only time Froch put him under any pressure and the ref dived in. Absulutely stinks.
Ha ha - That doesn't mean it's right. As earlier stated, we don't want another Michael Watson - the ref has a split second to make a decision. From the refs angle it was the right decision. Froch was off loading on Groves, plus Froch is a better finisher in the latter stages of the fight. Harsh reality, but that's life.
