All of this! Easily our MOTM, and didn't look particularly troubled at dealing with the likes of Wilshere, Ramsey, and Ozil. And where is Rabbitspectrum when you need him?
I use opera with the adblock extension. some ads still come up but they don't repeat like the old ones used to every 2 minutes I remember that moment. Wilshere does his usual and tries to run through his opponent. Runs into Wanyama who comes away with the ball. Reason I remember it is because he looks up, raises his arms in appeal to the ref and then remembers to be injured and we put the ball out.
I do like Opera, It's very fast. I use Firefox because for me it is usually the best all-round browser. Never makes a fuss. Is quick once loaded. Can identify itself to picky websites as whatever they like best, plus it comes with an excellent amount of built-in protection. Safari is very good, but it slows down to a crawl within a couple of weeks in Windows as it draws on more and more resources. I just don't like the look or feel of Chrome. Funnily enough, Google's Chromium, in Linux, isn't that bad, but I still prefer Firefox or Opera there. Firefox also reminds me of a Mach 5 fighter.
Top stuff Saints fans, you're a classy bunch of supporters. Been a big fan of your work all season. Good luck for the remained of the year and I hope you can grab a Champions league spot. Wanyama is something else. Without question the steal of the transfer window. Just hope teams like Chelsea or Man U (he's a big Man U fan apparently) don't come sniffing around both he and Shaw.
Just watched the Boruc show on MOTD.For me definitely a push by Giroud.Anywhere but the home grounds of the big clubs and that's a free kick.
This was the biggest issue of the game for me. 2 mistakes, 2 goals ok. But in possession we were dire apart from some probing runs fro Rodriguez but even those you knew were going to fizzle out. No, it was our slowness in moving the ball that was so disappointing. How often did we have the ball in the attacking third only to see it end up back with Boruc? A poor, tired display really. Wanyama though was superb. I have been criticising his distribution all season but he put in some terrific passes today as well as being back to his usual, "though shalt not pass" best.
I laughed very hard at that clip. Didn't look so monumental from the five-feet-above-the-pitch seat that I was stuck in. I must say that I dislike this instant "kick the ball out if someone's on the floor" reaction from teams. It started as a well-meaning gesture but now it's being consistently abused. In this case Wilshere did his best to look like he might never play (or even walk) again. The crowd went spare and, dutifully, Clyne kicked it into touch and Wilshere had stopped a potential attack. You can bet your last penny that if Arsenal had turned it over he's have been back on his feet participating. Not sure what can be done about it bar leaving players on the floor for a minute. After all, it's not like they are having a morphine shot delayed. Vin
I'm not going to blame the ref for that one. Giroud was too far away from him when he tried his first turn, was never going to send him off in the wrong direction. Its not as if he didn't have the time and space to hoof the ball up the pitch. It didn't even need to go into the stands.
Not sure I agree; didn't look it at the time and still didn't after seeing MOTD IMO. Looked like standard challenge rough and tumble to me. Just a daft error from a goalkeeper who is utterly outstanding apart from with the ball at his feet. Alan Hansen was right when he compared Boruc to Grobbelaar - similar mix of brilliance and barking at the moon madness. Vin
Hmmn. I suspect Artur, despite the macho Polish swagger, just wants to be loved, and Mauricio knows this. Either that or it's the dreaded "vote of confidence". You can imagine Cortese saying something similar, while stroking a cat.
Was surprised to see how some fans on twitter are turning on Boruc. Yes, he was an idiot...but we know he can be over confident. Remember his double ball bounce over an attacking player....how we loved that because he got away with it. That confidence also makes him pull off fantastic saves which have earnt us important points. Will he learn from it...of course he will. It's the time to stand squarely behind him (in fact that could be a good idea ).
I wouldn't be too critical of Boruc.Yes he is a little mad.Maybe a better comparison would be Dudek.Pochettino didn't seem too critical either,no big deal.Still think he fouled though, and I'm a Norwich fan.
