What the **** was Boruc playing at there?

And how good is Arsenal's midfield?

    Ramsey Arteta
    Wilshere Ozil Cazorla

    And that's without Walcott.

And why do defenders grab shirts at corners? It's so stupid.

2-0 down to Arsenal due to two completely avoidable goals. You'd be pissed off as a Southampton fan.

Lineker and Kilbane both saying "If that was Messi we'd all be raving about it." One of the most over-used and irritating football cliches. Fact is if someone does something good people will always notice. It's a total myth.

    Someone talk to me :(

First angle it looked soft, second one it looked like a horror tackle. Front on. Halfway up his leg. Red.

Players need to stop jumping into tackles from the front.

    The Mirallas one?

He should have 10 reds for that.

Sunderland are getting desperate. Trying to blame everything on refs. Can't wait for Poyet's reaction after this :emoticon-0114-dull:

Fletcher rolls on the floor holding his face when he was caught on the shoulder. Pathetic.

The Brown one looked soft because he didn't catch him but it's another one of these unecessary flying in from the front tackles. Good players don't need to do it. They should learn to tackle properly and without endangering people's careers.

Was just about to post that about fletcher. What a ****ing ****er, he's a good player he doesn't need to act like a cheating 5 year old. Something really needs to be done about these **** wits.

Bollocks. It was a great tackle.

His feet were absolutely fine at the time of contact - it was a block tackle. it was only afterwards, when the Stoke player was more than a yard behind him, that his lower-body momentum took his studs forward.

SAFC players aggressively hounding the ref almost regardless of what happened.

Poyet has them all very tense/wound up (just like Di Canio?)

Can see more red cards/ strops for this lot

I know there wasn't really any big contact but it's just the force he dived in with from the front. If Adam was half a yard further to his left (where Brown ended up diving in) what would have happened? Look how far he ends up going past Adam cos he's got so much momentum behind him. He'd have cut him in half. You can't fly in like that straight at someone, the refs know it but the players haven't figured it out yet. There's more red cards for this than anything else at the moment.

Totaly agree with Tuckin this was a perfectly timed tackle and did not even warrant a yellow card never mind a red.

Well when the suspension gets overturned, you can tell Riley's lot they've made the wrong decision. <cool>

How anyone can claim Wes Brown's was a sending off i have no idea, he timed the tackle perfectly, there's no point debating the point if he didn't time it perfectly as he did, that's just stupid you could say that about every single tackle in football as if it wasn't timed perfectly quite a lot would be sendings off, but it was!

Mirallas's tackle was shocking the fact Martinez defends it is stupid, why not just admit it and be the bigger man.

I never understand why managers don't do this.

As if the referee is going to change his mind.
