If we stay up it will be because of the sheer determination and natural ability of a few of our players rather than the tactics from the manager, i still don`t want CH sacked but i want him to start reading games and make changes during the game at the right times . We start every away game and some home games with 1 striker to try and keep possession in the middle and hope for a 1 0 or 0 0 and this does not work, he may as well try playing 2 strikers as his plan A has only worked once this season and maybe twice last season.
I think it is about relying on other teams to be worse than us rather than us winning games to be honest. A bit like last season until west brom were laying on the beach and citeh. Same again, try and draw our way to safety and rely on others being worse.
I've managed to get out of the "positivity cellar" that Super Dave has had me locked in to post this. I have to go now they are close by, I can smell the roses! Sssshhhhhhh!
Hughton will keep you up, he's a decent manager, albeit with some very suspect fans sharpening their knives behind his back...if you lot had got a point today this thread have run a very different course.
I actually doubt that Welly, we are not blind to what is happening on the pitch. A point would have been a travesty, albeit a welcome one
Leroy Fer is the only guy on the field consistently performing for us and the one ray of light in our side, this man will become one of the best players ever to pull on the yellow and green of Norwich City...<and he had an off day>
Well I've been on the fence until now, but I think I might have fallen off He needs to go I'm afraid, too negative and I fear he is losing the dressing room Cant see us beating palace next week now they have a win plus the new manager effect Luckily fulham are worse than us at present
Actually, they're not...going on the last six matches form guide, you're joint bottom with Palace and Hull. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html
In all fairness though, with three of those 'form' matches being Chelsea, Arsenal, and Man City, the form guide is probably not telling the whole truth at the moment as far as your concerned.
Not from me, Welly. As someone else says below, I'd have snatched the point with both hands. But a point would not have disguised just how poor we were. And now it's not just in attack, it's all over the park. Even Ruddy has lost the plot.
I didn't watch your match today, nor seen the highlights, so can't comment about your performance, but I didn't think you'd get anything from Newcastle away...on the positive side you'll probably do Crippled Alice by at least 3-0 at home next week.
