We do lose matches but we don't blame the referee for the loss of points. Calling for a player to be sent off to be able to win... #unedifying
Come on frank. You have to do better. Do you have to go to past seasons and SAF ? Any instances this season may be more appropriate #relyingonhistory
Lol one of your very own came on here and talked about an incident 2 years ago. Moving into the bebe stratosphere of summing.
**** me Brown got sent off for this tackle That's a great challenge, not a sending off!! please log in to view this image
I agree with those that say Sakho should be starting games for us now, with a.n.other at the other cb berth. I said this before the game re Lukaku. By the way, I'll say again that Johnson was dire today, but why was he watching Everton's six-foot-odd bull of a centre-forward at a corner? And people stop making excuses for Allen: I didn't know he was on the pitch until he missed a sitter. Like watching Lucas when he first came, but Lucas had the excuse of adjusting to the Prem. In all of this though, and not withstanding Matinez's one-eyed, Cahill-like bitterspittle after the game, let's not lose sight that the ****e are a good team. perhaps the best back four in the league and a fantastic CF that they need to break the bank and buy at the end of the season. But I have to laugh at this - for all the whimpering about Suarez diving, for the second year running at a derby at Goodison it was a B/S that got booked for diving.
Lol, you're right, this year your current manager blamed the premier league for a JFK like conspiracy in fixing the fixture list because they didn't give you the bottom clubs in your first ten fixtures. How dare they? Don't they know who pays them!!!! Slightly tackier and vastly more crazy than us believing a correct decision to send a player off would have effected the game's outcome eh? You're really not very good.
You call for players to be sent off every time you play at OT, and frequently get your way. And then you turn around and say you'd have won anyway....
I'm still p*ssed so no doubt I will say somethings that will be OTT and annoy others but sod it: Draw at Goodison is a decent result all things considering. What annoys me is was our performance. Yet again, we fall apart in the second and once again, our midfield is overrun. Gerrard and Lucas are the worst central midfield pairing our club has had in decades - against decent midfields, they cannot operate and our defence becomes exposed. Everton had plenty of CLEAR CUT chances today. We were lucky to get a point in the end - Mignolet, take a bow mate. What a performance. I'm glad to see Johnson back to his sh*t self again. The same applies to Lucas, Gerrard and Johnson - it's one thing being able to turn it on against crap like Fulham, Crystal Palace etc, but try doing it against good teams for once. Not for the first time this season, we crumble when we're pressed. We're not going to progress anything until the midfield is overhauled. That's fact. We will beat the smaller teams but this is further evidence of how far away we are from the best teams. The funny thing is that everyone will criticise Allen for that miss, and completely overlook his decent peformance prior, and the pathetic performances from others. And credit to Flanno - played well. Final thing - as others have mentioned, M'Vila was spotted in our end today. Please God, let him join LFC. We are desperate!
Two bad ref decisions today at the minimum. No red for us and a red for Wes Brown. There are millions riding on these decisions which are made by people who aren't fit for purpose.
Jimmy think you will find many who agree with you about our midfield. I am certainly one of them. Definetly needs quality and hopefully m'vila being there is a good sign that Rodgers recognizes the deficiency.
So we've now got Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Swansea away all done with. With Spurs, City, and Chelsea all coming up, if we can stay in and around the top four places coming in January we'll be in a very strong position. Not only because of the transfer window, but because we'll have a lot of home games to play going in to the final stretch. Very happy with how the season has progressed thus far.
Ive just killed my first bottle of Cockspur but I can stll make a far more reasonable assessment of out side than you!
I agree. The seasons been so much better than the ****e we've been served in the past 3-4 years. For once we are improving as opposed to slowly going backwards. If we can get to January still in the mix then we should be able to temp a few good players - and who knows from there A lot of iffs and butts but I have a feeling the point today will be seen positively at the end of the season. A loss and there would have been an inquest by the media and all our fans. As it is its not too bad.
Mate, you don't understand how much I want M'Vila! Lol. We are crying out for a player like him, but the sad part is that he will only solve part of the problem. Much more work needed - still feel that it will take another 2 transfer windows for Rodgers to get it right.
