OK, Newcastle away is tough and maybe we didn't expect any points. But this is another shambles of a display. He really HAS to go. Preferably tonight.

And personally I won't trash Russell Martin. He has been a good, solid player for us over the last few seasons and somehow he is now rubbish. There must be a reason for that. Hughton has the opposite of the Midas touch. He has sucked the belief out of our players, including those, like Martin, who was regularly playing above his level.

Oh, and Hooper is crap at this level, but I'm sure he'll score goals for us when we are relegated. (Perhaps that was long-sightedness on the part of our illustrious manager.)

Newcastle seem to play two defensive midfielders with Tiote and Cabaye their sweeping up and hassling our players so it's difficult for our midfield to get a foothold in the game. We might need to bring someone on to add a bit more presence so they have to double players up and create gaps.

Maybe so. But some of the comments from fans hardly help. There is a new boo boy every week and some of our support has been ****. Spoilt in the last few years maybe, lack of patience, understanding of football? Not just Norwich fans but most fans when they are in this position

there are times when the team doesn't seem to know who is going for which ball - the pressure we put ourselves under is extraordinary

Our players look like they're lacking belief in their own ability. Confidence looks shot to s**t.

I think we took a risk starting him (didn't he limp off against West Ham with a similar injury?) and it's backfired badly.

Newcastle are sitting back and we don't look remotely like taking advantage of the fact. You're right, Cornish, our confidence is totally shot to pieces.
