I thought Allen was good - passed and pressed well. Think he is mentally weak though - once he missed, it was going downhill for him. And Dave - no doubt you thought Gerrard was the player on the park today?
I don't remember Allen doing anything in that game apart from the miss. I don't even remember him touching the ball in the first half. Meanwhile Shelvey scores for Swansea today... Personally I'd rather have Shelvey than Allen, I don't see Allen as a Liverpool player.
Behave... it was against Fulham. Listening to 606 one fan actually said the most embarrassing thing about Fulham's performance was making Shelvey look like Romario.
Gerrard certainly contributed a hell of a lot more than Allen and with Ford having to play wide moved up to help make plays.
