Good game so far from both sides. They press well and high up the pitch so we can't expect to be dominating posession. Both sides have had good spells, we where all over them until we got the goal, hitting the post twice and looking like it was only a matter of time before we would score. After the goal they really woke up, a few good set pieces gave them some confidence and they have made Sczc work hard in this half. But we have defended well, kept a good line and Kosc has cleared up when it has been needed. Arteta isn't having his best game and seems not quite up to the pace of the game, might be worth moving Wilshere into the middle alongside Ramsey and bring on Walcott to play on the right. Giroud is bossing this game, he is bringing everything under his control, moving the ball on quickly and did really well to take the ball without fouling the keeper and score our goal. He has helped out massively in defense from set pieces and seems to be all over the pitch. He's having a really good game and i wouldn't rule out him scoring again. We need to come out and press them more as a team and we need to be more physical with them.
I don't know if us not conceding so much from set pieces earlier on in the season was a fluke, or if we started doing something wrong lately. But we seem to be very fragile. Otherwise we had some good spells in that half.
