Mirralas could have been sent off twice, so many yellow card fouls and that shocker on Suarez

You seem unable to make your mind up. Have you been around Salford on the meth with your favourite Co-Op bank director again?

Not as bad as caressing Ashley Young's shirt and getting a straight red like Derry did, but studs up behind the knee is pretty much a sending-off in anyone elses' book. The fact that when the ****e fans get back from the game and admit that, but then start the equivilancy game of bad decisions by by Clive Thomas in the seventies will pretty much underline that. And that you're the Mourinho of 606.

Good to see a more attacking Everton, unlike the ****e we're usually up against when Moyes was in charge.

Great derby, had everything. Bit disappointed, but Sturridge popping up at the end with the equaliser made the day bearable.

Still resorted to kung fu tactics. I would say rugby, but they don't kick each other in rugby. <ok>

I'm not satisfied with a point at all. But Mirallas should NOT have been on the pitch. Plain and simple. Awful, precedent setting decision.

In my opinion we needed to play with Sakho in place of Skrtel, and had Roy not been a ****er Sturridge would have replaced Allen.

Allen wasn't awful - he was tidy until his miss, but that's not enough. Not once did we stamp out dominance in the middle of the pitch. Gerrard was reckless but trying desperately to create something for Suarez, Lucas was good, and what was Allen? He was just... there. If his role was to shuffle the ball and keep possession he most certainly did not do it well enough. He had a few enquiring forward passes but nothing that would give him any more chances for me.

I'm not trying to scapegoat him as he is miles better than - let's say, Downing. But in a game like today he needed to really play his socks off and he didn't.

That being said he wasn't the worst on the pitch, with that position going to Johnson who did his typical "one second too late" crap. He beats his man and crosses one second too late. He cuts in, and sends the pass one second too late. Ball breaks away? He starts tracking back one second too late.

It makes a huge difference and RB is a position we need to strengthen. A strong, big-name CM as well, maybe from the Bundesliga.

Flanagan was decent enough. Still dropped his head and confidence to allow Lukaku that 10 minute run. Wasn't just him and given his inexperience its more forgivable than Skrtel and Johnson.

Agger wasn't awful, he had to make a few saving tackles and didnt mark his man properly once or twice. Agger-Sakho or Sakho-Toure next week please.

Yeah but thats standard derby stuff, they'd be **** without it. Just good to see a more open game now Moyes has ****ed off and now employed his negative ****e at Utd.

That's my opinion. It was no red card. Not every bad foul is a red <doh>

You are right mate. A synopsis of Allen. He was there until the point that he shouldn't habe been there. What a waste - not of him but somebody who could have contributed. We were brilliant considering that we kicked-off with 10 men!!!

The next 3 games are against Hull (away), and norwich and West Ham (both home). We need all 9 points I feel and then we go in to the Spurs game after that.

This is the last thing I'm going to say on Allen today. Yes his miss was bad but Suarez header wasn't far off being as simple, considering he was a forward...

In the derby where it is fast paced and 100mph Allen brought a level of control to the game when we had the ball. Especially in the 1st half he took the ball and kept it simple and kept possession unlike Gerrard who was playing simple passes but they were going to Everton, as well as being caught on the ball a couple of times one which led to Lukaku being played through.

I thought it was probably his best game since his injury and if he had scored, I bet a lot of what's being said about him today wouldn't be the case. 1 miss shouldn't make everyone forget the way he played during the rest of the game.
