To be fair to Allen I think he's had a good game today. Yes he's missed that but other than that he's done well.

Now he goes and gets booked

Mirallas, 3 tackles, 1 which on it's own is a red, 1 handball and he's on a yellow card.
Allen, 1 soft tackle, 1 yellow card

 

Sad thing is that he's had a tidy game but the miss is the only thing people will remember from this game, especially if we don't get the 3 points.

 

If we fail to win, I hope we never see Allen play for us again.

 

That's why Skrtel isn't a BR type CB.

Fair play to Allen, months out injured he comes straight back into the first team in a derby game and has a solid game. Yes, missed that one but apart from that has had a good game in my opinion.

 

Allen had his chance and ****ed up royally. Can't see him getting many more this season.
