Ive some concerns about him hanging around. GFH are not strong financially and are open to offers as we all know. Bates has cash, probably lots of it and more than some of the consortiums being linked. He hardly flew from Monaco to have his photo taken unless he hopes to achieve something. As our CEO has made a denial already, clearly Bates has been in contact with some sort of poxy offer. Whatever is going on, his presence around Elland Road is bad and unwelcome news
The thing that worries me is that any such offer is usually sounded out before a face to face meeting is required. Unless you get the green light, you don't fly over from Monaco on spec, do you? How do you even know if the person you want to see is actually at ER & not in Dubai or somewhere?

That can't be right. If the case is in court then the club would not be talking to him about anything related to the case.
he'll lose and it'll cost him a lot of money. Just hope he's ordered to pay the clubs legal costs so we don't suffer for it. Horrible old ****.
Can't believe he's taking LUFC to court. He doesn't have the club to pay when he loses this time! .... unless he's found one of these ambulance chasers that doesn't get paid unless he wins? One can only hope he is hugely humiliated in public. Sadly, everyone would recognise this but him.
