closest to the pin wins a prize I'm going to be bold and go for a sneaky 2-1 to the Town! Nugent for them (probably from the spot) McGoldrick and then Tayls late on to snatch the winner Bloody hope so anyway, as I work in Loughborough there are a few of 'their sort' about & I have a bet on at work with a couple of the lads... also her indoors and her family support Leicester so "I would love it if we beat them"
With the strains of "Edward Ebeneazor Jeremiah Brown" still ringing in our ears I will go for a 2-0 win For leicester.... <tongueincheek> emoticon My predictions are always bloody useless!
I honestly can't see us getting anything out of this one, and unfortunately think we will get tonked 3 or 4 nil. As much as i hate to say it, i think Leicester will run away with this league.
It will be a tight game. Can't see either team winning comfortably with the scoreline We have Anthony Knockaert suspended who creates most of our chances so we will probably change things up. Might be good news for you but we're not sure if David Nugent will start. Chris Wood and Jamie Vardy are the preferred front 2 of the fans but Nugent can still score the winner coming off the bench. We could even start all 3 but it's unlikely as whenever we have started all 3 all have struggled to get into the game Good luck for the season but I hope you lose 6-0 tommorow
Looks like we'll be going back to 442, this is why Mick pisses me off, reverts back to the safe bet rather than going for it: http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/24035/town-back-to-4-4-2-for-leicester He just can't get over that play safe thing. I'm going for a 0-0 based on those comments!!!
Oh yeah great idea let's start all Gung-Ho and get picked off and on the wrong end of a right tonking!
I'm not saying that and I'm not advocating us playing 4 strikers, I see that is a little silly as we'd have none on the bench but just the complete lack of risk taking, pees me off with Mick and the whole not going for it, it's all gently gently, as he has done his whole career. The whole turning Tommy Miller into a defensive midfielder and one which sticks in my mind is when he put a reserve team out against Man Utd, just too down to earth and lacking risks for my liking, it's just how he is but I think he could've acheived far more as a manager if he went for it a bit more and concentrated on being on the front foot rather than stopping the opposition first and foremost as he does have the talent to ddo it as we have seen!!! He just needs to throw a little more caution to the wind every now and then.
I have to agree with most of what you say ptc... with arguably the best team on the park tomorrow, we need to man up, get amongst them early and attack on front foot from the off.
