    RAW and Bri,as well as The Mackem Effect are all right..no way can Mannone be dropped as he's doing a canny job!!A clean sheet at Stoke would do the defence wonders!

    Exactly so.

    2 wins and a clean sheet against a team who scored 12 goals in their previous 2 games. Dropping him would send out entirely the wrong message imo.

    grandpops,I think that we now have a manager who knows how to send the right messages to the squad and supporters...there is no way that he will drop Mannone!

    Agreed mate. Not only is he saying the right things but he also trying to do them. Quite a novelty.

    It may take a while and I can see him doing the biz but he must have help from behind the scenes. ES, Di Fanti and the scouts all have to do their part.

    I reckon January will be a huge indicator.

    Jesus! Westwood had a very poor defence in front of him as well. Massively affecting his confidence. Too many variables to even mention in your argument. Mine is. If a player that replaces an injured or banned player takes his chance. The injured or banned player does mot get his place back. You don't seem to think that's the case
