You obviously haven't met my wife To be fair the only real away disaster was Bristol City. The rest probably could have been predicted although Spurs last season was a massive disappointment. As Chilco says, all these hoodoos are the old Saints. They no longer apply.
Really? Last season wast the first time I ever decided to travel - I went to two matches Arsenal away & West ham away. I don't think I'm ever going to another away game
My wife has never seen Saints lose. True she has only been to 6 games (3 away and 3 home), but seen 5 wins and draw. I'm trying to encourage her to go more frequently!!
Nice interview with Carzola in The Guardian today - he talks about how in Spain you have Barca and Real Madrid miles ahead of the rest, whereas here you have Chelsea, Arsenal, United, City, Liverpool, Tottenham..........and us
Went to the Britaina last year. Disappointing to chuck away 3p like that. Enjoyable day out though. Anyone know of any pubs in the locks heath park gate area showing the match?
Good luck tomorrow agaisnt the goons, not just wanting you to get a result as I hate the bastards, but its obviously important you get a result when on a great run of form, as it will just add to your reputation as a top young team and hold off any thoughts of a drop in form, as I know, no matter how positive any of you are, in the back in your mind you be wondering how long this run can last. A clean sheet and lallana to score (with an assist from clyne) will also be great for my fantasy football team!
I have decided that I am going to kill people who try to corrupt our language with stupid needless Americanisms when we have perfectly suitable words of our own to describe the emotion. Tell me how would you like me to kill you?
Well there's consistency for you. How long did your chilled out period last..? Thanks for the heads-up anyway, StG.
Jump on a plane at Madrid and come over here if you think your hard enough. Im a tough bastard when im 5000 miles away . If your coming please bring some PG tips
Double page spread in The Times today on Mauricio and Saints and full page photo of Rickie, Jay and Adam on the cover of the Sports section. Lots of quotes from the club's official spokesman a certain young man by the name of James Ward Prowse. Mauricio says he only uses David (his interpreter) on match days and with the media.
First time to the Emirates and I can't wait, going with my man Lovren to score first in 1-0 Saints win
We're definately going into this game on a high. Let's just hope we come out of it on one. Our biggest test so far this season, but we've passed every other test so far (except Norwich). No predictions, other than a cracking game. Wish I was going.
