Yes. Being a regular visitor to my college team's forums over the years has prepared me well for here. I've been following the Toon for the past two years and I have to say both sets of fans share much in common haha.

Tash your hero Tony the Tiger was saying "Howay the lads" and other Geordie slang on Real Radio a few weeks ago. Gutted you missed out.

Wow that was pretty cool! Oh college football is way better than pro, and i'm a Penn Stater too...and I actually know Adam Taliaferro, the player who was injured at 2:07...interestingly Beaver stadium reminds me a lot of St. James'....JOPA! Saturdays are the best over here...get up early, like 7am and hit the pub for the Prem and Champ games, then watch college football all afternoon and night.....and plenty of pints!

I went to the Bears v Eagles this season, the tickets were expensive, the food and drink was extortionate and it was bloody cold. I enjoyed myself though and it was a decent game. What really annoyed me is the amount of stoppages, I remember about 5mins into the 2nd quarter there was a delay, I asked the person what for next to me and they said an advert break because it was on TV, if that was true it's a bit of a joke like!

O yeah, the Bears won! Bear down!

Yeah that's true...our sports are filled with 'TV timeouts' and pro football is the worst...makes games last like 3-4 hours. Its even worse trying to watch the games on TV, all hype and commercials. IMO the only reason the Super Bowl is so big is cus so many non-football fans and people who have no clue what a touchdown is watch the Super Bowl solely for the commercials.

All the stopages are going to affect the player's momentum. It can't be good for them. Would hate to see that in our game.

Kevin Nolan was my favorite player and was really excited to see him in Kansas City when the Toon come to the states.

    Thanks a lot Ass-ley, Pardon't, and Lamb-ass.

I mentioned to my wife that we should fly to Miami and see my Dad for a few weeks. She agreed and looked at dates. I told her we had to be over there for the 23rd July and was adamant about it.

She looked through Google to see what national holiday it was on that date. Nothing. Asked if it was my Dads birthday. Nope.

She then read that Newcastle were in the States and told me to **** off. There was no way in hell we were going to the States so I could dump her for a few days to watch a stupid game.

France for holiday this summer :(
