Evening, Racing comes from Ascot Haydock Ffos Las and Wolverhampton At Ascot 3.15 Annacotty 3/1 had his from franked by the victory of Present View today who he beat 5L LTO. Best of luck all
I've seen something i really fancy and not back until late tomorrow Anyway down to business, 5 10 Wolverhampton - PEACHEZ e/w 33/1 I think this is an absolute huge price, C&D winner - won 1 and come 2nd in the other race Had a run a couple of weeks ago so the rust should be gone, Amy Scott back in the saddle who does well on it and if you look at it's previous runs, you can ignore the last 2 due to longish layoffs, and look at the previous 7 runs, Peachez finished in the first 2 all 7 times when running regularly Looks a e/w steal and will hopefully even win! Fingers crossed and best of luck to all!
There's a few I'll be on tomorrow but will more than likely be crap prices so will be win only lucky 15 and accumulator: 1:20 Haydock - Dan Breen 5/1 1:40 Ffos Las - Bendant 9/4 2:15 Ffos Las - Danandy 9/4 3:40 Haydock - Wuff don't know price on this one but will be surprised if it's bigger than 4s
It appears there are two threads for tomorrow so i'll put this on both: There's a few I'll be on tomorrow but will more than likely be crap prices so will be win only lucky 15 and accumulator: 1:20 Haydock - Dan Breen 5/1 1:40 Ffos Las - Bendant 9/4 2:15 Ffos Las - Danandy 9/4 3:40 Haydock - Wuff don't know price on this one but will be surprised if it's bigger than 4s
Some very nice horses out tomorrow, hoping to add some funds for a big day on Saturday. ***o has been drifting so far tonight but form wise surely nothing is near him. He has finished behind some top novices earlier in the year and was thrown into a very competitive grade 2 handicap last time out. The fast ground hasnt looked ideal and gets softer ground today. Only thing that will beat him is his jumping but as long as he has a clean race he should win hard held. Urban Hymn was very impressive on his bumper debut and won a P2P prior to that also. Ground is no issue but this is a tough race. Spirit of Shankly is clearly a danger but he has to give weight to the selection. Singles and a nice double on them 2. Niceonefrankie has been knocking on the door most of the year although hasnt been able to get his head up first. They tried him over 3m and didnt see out the trip. Back down to 2m 3f and only 5 pounds higher than last winning mark, as long as he shows the same consistency as previous he should go close in this at a decent price.
13.55 Haydock- Oscar Hoof- 7/2 NAP One from my 5 to follow- Has only run in bumpers going off odds on, on all 3 starts but am very excited to see him run over some obstacles. Won 2/3 of his bumpers and came 3rd in his other one- in what was deemed a very competitive race. He is a quailty horse owned by the Hoof Partnership - who i believe have Golden Hoof- (another one of my 5 to follow) who runs on saturday. He has taken abit of time to nurture but he is is in good hands and cant wait to see him run tomorrow.
I see AP and the lovely Rebecca Curtis could have a nice treble tomorrow @ Ffos Llas worth a small trixie 12.40 - Cloud Brook 13.10- Potters Cross 16.00- Imagine The Chat
The Fixed Brush Novice Hurdle at 3.05 Haydock looks a blinding race. Likely market leader Urban Hymn was an impressive Point winner for Richard Barber and has subsequently bolted up on Rules debut in a bumper at Huntingdon for Malcolm Jefferson. In addition to Urban Hymn you have Classic Move who won by a distance in a P2P before finishing an excellent 3rd to Moyle Park at the Punchestown Festival for Don Cantillon. Wasn't all that impressive when winning for Donald McCain but the yard weren't really firing then and he should definitely appreciate going up in trip on hurdling debut. Spirit Of Shankly brings some very decent hurdling form to the table but has to shoulder a penalty whilst Nicholls' Varom also has some nice enough form in the book and should come on for his recent hurdling debut. Chuck in the bang in form Fergal O'Brien's Point winner Up The Ante making his rules debut and its potentially a very nice race. First 3 home could easily end up being quite smart.
Wooly, if FLYING EAGLE gets beat in that bumper I will have to seriously think about giving up gambling mate!
I see what you mean but altho he doesnt look much on paper with the Champ on board and with a stable that does well on bumpers he has to be taken espec if the money comes in for him
He is a lovely horse Wooly and very highly regarded by the yard. Major shock when he didn't win last time. He is good enough to go very close here buts it's a very hot heat. My tip tomorrow would be the one in the bumper, BATTLE BORN. They like him a lot at the yard and have not rushed him. He has a great chance! The most interesting thing this weekend re Hull Farm is where they send MAGNIFIQUE ETOILE. Carry topweight in the Haydock Handicap Hurdle or go to Ascot for the grade two hurdle. If it was my choice it would be the latter and lets see how good he really is!
Cheers stick Dont really know too much about that field- but may have a small wager on him depends on Oscar Hoof gets on tomorrow
Wooly, last time out at Aintree they omitted several hurdles in the home straight which I don't think played to our fellas strengths. They have also stuck a tongue tie on him tomorrow so I assume Noel reported a breathing issue (I have heard nothing about that). Tongue ties don't often produce positive results but occasionally it really does work the oracle.
My two for tomorrow - Purple Bay, now confirming the promise he showed in bumpers last season. And Niceonefrankie Good luck all
