Sorry champ or is that c**k?

Its a forum so everyones entitled to say what they want.....As I ve said when one of the wheelbarrows or other tips come in we see lots of 'boom and boooooommmmmm' and 'get in'.. If one doesnt come in nothing wrong with posting a comment unless this forum only exists for those in the 'click' only..

Completely agree with this last comment. Its called a forum for Gods sake. If the likes of Stick put up an each way tip and it wins, there's all this well done stick, I love you stick. When he hasnt even tipped it to win!! Goes each way! So as a comparison if you put up a wheelbarrow job and it comes nowhere then expect some negativity. Its what a forum is about - different peoples views!

Agree people are right to have their own views- but theres no need to gloat and make the type of comment that Captain did. I completely back what Bob said no need to be smug- no-one likes loosing especially when they say its a wheelbarrow job- it does make people feel people uncomfortable so perhaps instead of taking the f***ing piss and if u really wanna say some thing say like "unlucky" or try to crack a joke but dont put people down for thier picks, especially when they tip more winners that most.

Lost a wheelbarrow today, if anyone finds it can I please have it back.

As I stated earlier I got it wrong today with that horse and I hold my hands up and accept the criticism. Didn't see Pops congratulating my once raced eight length winner an hour later mind.

What a few on here don't seem to understand (pbew especially) is that I post on here purely to try to help people win money, no other reason! I do have insights from a few owners and trainers and try to share as much as I can. This seems to rile some people (pbew especially) who doubt that I get any info at all.

You wont get it right every time and bizarrely the more times you get it right the more some want to see you fail.

I can take a bit of criticism when it is deserved. Today it was deserved. Bizarrely when I put up a few losers on here I become more circumspect about what I post. My "friends" will tell you that you miss quite a few winners!

I think people just need to lighten up and stop taking everything so seriously, i'm sure Stick wasn't offended, he's won us all enough money on here and i'm sure he can take the odd negative comment on the chin when he puts up a (rare) loser.

This forum is more friendly and generous in spirit than any other racing forum I've ever been involved with. I don't understand the compulsion to be smart arsed or sarcastic. It's just plain bad manners.

Forums (or should it be forae?) are for discussion - not insult. I've always been taken with the words of Mr David Byrne in his 1977 work 'Psychokiller' when he says "I hate people when they're not polite."

A basic rule of thumb should be that if someone said to you what you are about to post, would you be offended? If so, don't post it. If you said it to someone's face down the pub, you might expect to get chinned. Why do you think it's OK from the other end of a keyboard?

What a prick. Has Captain ever put up a selection? What a complete waste of space. I'm completely non plussed by a buffoon who criticises but very rarely posts selections.

    Do you mean clique?

Are you suggesting my opinion is irrelevant when you say all opinions have value and all can say what they wish? It's a funny old world.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when you put on an EACH WAY bet and it wins you get placed on the WIN part as well as the PLACE part? <erm>
Whereas if you want to bet Tote place you only get paid on the placing!

SO AN E/W bet is two edged ie a bigger return if it wins and a comfort blanket return if it only places!

Well done Stick, unlucky with the wheelbarrow jobs but heyho THATS THE GAMBLE!!!!
