    Now then lads..

I did this thread a few months ago but since then we seem to have a few new members living far and wide..

So, what's the craic where you live then? I have lived in York for 4 years now, granted the area I live in was once affluent but York CC decided to put any ****-bag here for some reason, hence why we are moving! House sold today (thank ****) so it's looking like a good new year for us already. Easy to see btw how a bag of **** moving next door to you can lower your esteem and make you aggressive, it's the only council house in our cul-de-sac, next door to us and these elephants moved in about a year ago..

i'm losing a bit of track here but for you lads that live away, how do you find the people where you are? Being where I am and judging the City as beautiful, I have never come across a bigger load of ****e in my life when it comes to the residents. Inconsiderate, Ignorant and as thick as **** is the best ways to sum it up. Thank the **** they are only famed for making chocolate and being, well just them..

I thought Teesside was bad, 40 miles up the road but these sad ****ers are probably the worst of the lot and that includes Cambridge when it needed 240v to wake the ****ers up..

I'm in Acomb, York at the mo but moving in the New Year, I call this place Fraggle Rock but you need to come here to see why. My dad used to always say, "Thick Yorkshire ****ers" and I see why now..

Anyway, what's it like where you are?

Where are you moving to in York matey?

I'm currently stopping in Oxford, commuting down to London which is beyond an ache. Oxford's "lovely" according to most. The fact of the matter is it's full of poncey students choking on their silver spoons. As such I spend most of my time in London. Knackering but an upside is my work's benefitting from it. The team I work with must ****ing hate me though as I won't let them have any time off.

A mile or two from where I spent six years of my childhood! Not sure what it's like now but it used to be decent and great access to the city.

Joseph Rowntree Secondary school wasn't much to shout about mind. We did used to knack the Huntingdon lot though.

All right mate, I hope the Yorkies aren't that bad. I'll be there before Christmas ....... I've just booked in for the night after the Chelsea match, as we make our way back to Mansfield.

Astley House Hotel 123 Clifton, YORK, YO30 6BL ............ do you know it, is it any good and our lass was asking if the Christmas lights are on yet <ok>

To be fair me and our kid were horrific students. Our family moves and the school gets on the up and up. No coincidence there. :emoticon-0120-doh:

Will be a good move for you mate. Sure of it.

It would be a pleasure mate, I'll send a pm nearer the time.

Providing Lollie can take a bit of piss taking we'll all get on fine :emoticon-0105-wink:

I'm just the same in real life as I am on here so be warned ............. we're there all of the Thursday after the match and will be in town at night.
As always we'll be going to Betty's for breakfast on Friday morning before we head off to Mansfield.

Canny scran there mate and the waitresses couldn't be any sexier if they were naked <laugh>

We're at York Minster at 7pm for the annual Christmas carol service so would pop round about 5pm bearing Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh.
If supplies are short it'll be a few cans of Stella and a bag of Maltesers <laugh>

That's no problem my friend, we will furnish you with your hearts desires, believe me. I have told Lollie about this visit tonight and she has smiled her lovely eyes. This guy who I always regarded as a mate, never met, but a mate simply by written words, beliefs and a history that was so close to mine. You are and always will be a memory of me typing stuff for a long time, so to welcome you to my abode is a pleasure. Do be warned though, my Lollie isn't to good but you will see through her eyes what makes me shine everyday to fight to get her better again..

Really looking forward to it smug..<ok>

My best mate is an 18 stone bodybuilder, who I worked with and have known half my life ........ he's been in a home for the last 7 years as a virtual vegetable.

I go to see him, whenever I'm back and sit talking to him for 2 hours without much response. The only recognition is when I get up to go and he cries.

    Don't worry mate, I'm ****ing bullet-proof me.
