they did if you were **** at it lol........and yep I was **** at em <laugh>>>>>>what put me off mostly mind was the twenty kids/mates heads trying 2 watch someone play because they didn't have no money 2 play themselves>>>they be under your arms over your arms on your shoulders and sometimes even in your pockets <laugh>>>>>twas a real put off for me failing in front of mates and sometimes street enemies......on times it spilled into a blood bath especially if I spent the money on the game instead of buying the chips for the family like my mother had intended the money be used for........those were the days hey.<ale>

I don't buy anything lightly, I do a fair bit of research first and get value for money. Bare in mind most of my PC is parts I've had years and is constantly evolving. It's not like I just go out and buy a new system, I'm not that flush! The wife says I squeak when I walk but she really means I'm just prudent ;)

"As for free games, again you are right, but then the PC has a much larger range of free games, not to mention the range of online multiplayer games that can be played for free, at no extra cost. World of tanks for example. (Which i know is coming to XBOX, but it looks crap )"

very true and im not shocked the xbox game looks shocking>>>this machine has struggled more than the ps3 with the latest gta so time has caught up with it>>>>the ps3 tho is still looking good for the time being>>>>>>>I wonder how a seven year old pc would handle a new release high end pc game swanselona>>>>not very well im guessing.

anyway if your good at making a more than useful gaming pc for less then im up for paying you for your knowledge on putting hyperspin on my spare pc>>>>>tiz another acer>>>>4core blah blah bla>>>hopefully it will handle up 2 the ps2 and xbox without any lag issues <ok>

Yeah, I had very similar temps to yours with my 460.

That's a phenomenal change of temps with your Hydro, even coming from a stock cooler! I've got a Phenom X4 965BE OC'd to 3.82 with an Antec Kuhler H2O 620. It runs at 30ish cool and around 50 stressed. Now this is proper nerd talk

That's a hell of a collection. Sounds like your spare PC should handle it ok for the most part. I have no idea what's involved with setting it up but from the site it sounds like it's just a matter of ruunning the software? It sounds pretty much self contained but I'm guessing, so don't quote me! I don't even run Windows so swanselona's your best bet ;) Plus he lives nearer you so you can get together for some 2 player spliff action

Have you played the rebooted Rome total war Tom? I've read there's been a few glitches etc.

I know a lot of people are very excited about Total War: ROME II. I wish I could get into these types of games as it looks great but it's too in-depth for me. I don't have the patience or time to invest and I wish I did. I'm more of an FPS fan.

Medieval 2 Total War was the best for me. Especially the expansion pack. Used to spend bloody hours on that game. That's why I'm afraid to by the new Rome game <laugh>
