Given he'd made 2 challenges during the game (see my earlier post) that both were worthy of red cards, then I think you can put that one down to karma lad.
I'd rather Sahko at LB than Cissikho! It would be nice if both our fullbacks could stay fit for at least two games running. We should be unchanged from the 4-0 win against Fulham - Henderson, Gerrard and Lucas in the centre with Coutinho, Sturridge and Suarez up top left to do what they do best. apart from the back four the team pretty much picks itself, any two of Skrtel, Toure, Agger or Sahko could start.
Cissokho hasnt exactly started great but I think we might need Sakho in the mddle to cope with lukaku's strength
Agger can play LB so we could just switch them around. I do agree, Sahko put in an amazing performance for France the other day which has made him the flavour of the month over there (scored 2 goals which put them through) so stick him in while his confidence is high.
Yeah he'll be buzzing Enrique damn it Hopefully this will sort his problems out Again Agger at lb I dont know. I would stil lstart Cissokho there and hopefully he'll start well and carry on from there!
Given the referee saw the build up to the disallowed goal there were no red or even yellow card challenges made, you saw it through blue tinted glasses tobes.
I'll never forget watching Gerrard run 80 yards back up the pitch & doing his knee slide celebration right in front of us. His face when he realised it had been disallowed was priceless It could have been even funnier had we scored when we then broke away..
Sakho on Lukaku is a great shout. I would either do Cissokho and Johnson on the backs or have Johnson go to LB and Toure RB. I think this could be a good game with Toure and Sakho. A lot of pace, power, leadership, ability in the air. etc.
fixed. Could be a big game for Sakho. Rodgers has some thinking to do as a clean sheet the last game but those defenders who did not play looked good in the WCQ.
I think this game is going to be awesome Tobes, I really do. Martinez with a new attacking style and both teams in form. It will be very different from the previous years and should be really good. Only negative is it is on at 7:45 AM here!!!!
