Can anyone explain to me why we only seem to start playing when the opposition score?
The game seemed to kick off only once we were one behind.
Morgan was well off the boil and there were far too many lofted balls in to him and PCH in the first half. Though we seemed to up the pace when McClure came on and he scored a good goal, the smallest and oldest man on the pitch scored first!
Disappointing that Had Wycombe set about Cheltenham as they did for the last half an hour from the start, we might have won.

Wycombe need to get a regular left back they can put in. Woody has been terrible there. There were times he was standing in gaps between players for throw-ins looking lost. He was left in the wake of their right back on too many occasions. And when he gets the ball all he wants to do is hoof it along the touchline and hope for the best.
As soon as he's back playing left midfield the better.
I think they should put Hause at left back. He's been excellent this year.

wood played superbly well there on Tuesday, but maybe that was because Crewe were a poor side and the 4-4-2 formation gives more support to the full backs than the very narrow 4-1-3-2 formation. I suspect when Charles dunne returns this weekend he will start, with wood moving into midfield. who gaz will drop out of scowen, knott and lewis I have no idea!

as for hause, he is out injured after fracturing his ankle or something so it looks like were stuck with Sammy wood, who should be in midfield, leon Johnson, who can cover there, or Charles dunne (is his heart in in?) for a little while yet
