He's also won something at Arsenal so he's got that experience of winning and being around winners like Henry, Vieira etc, unlike Enrique!

No probably not, if anything being to Clichy may be a way of putting pressure on Newcastle to accept a lower bid.

I'd prefer Clicky by miles. U?

I reckon so.He knows what the pressures like of playing for a relatively big club.I know Liverpool are a far bigger club than Arsenal but Arsenal are a far bigger club than Newcastle.

Plus, I think comolli will want a french player or two, just in that nature I feel, especially with France on the resurrgence kick.

Nasri? Talented, but doesn't exactly instill fear in the opponent's defence <laugh>

I dunno, I think he does. He was bang all over everyone in the first half of the season, and he was weaving around people and scoring. He tailed off, but he is young.

It would be a disaster for Arsenal if he left. Wouldn't be to happy if he went to United either.

We obviously have such riveting conversations that they feel they mustn't disturb us.

Gotta say I think cliche would be a great addition to any squad. If we could somehow get him for £5M then that would be an absolute steal as he is prob worth double that.

Definately worth double that. Would finally get rid of our problem in that area.

Perhaps, but you would have to be gambling on Clichy overcoming the problems that have continually faced him at arsenal. If you want to overtake us you will need to buy better players than the standard he is at now. Of course it could work out and he returns to being amazing but it is by no means set in stone.

What exactly are the problems hindering him currently?

I'll admit praise for him last season was almost unknown compared to tons the seasons before that.

He is only 25, so a change of scene may help regather his form. Definately worth a go either way.

Making the same stupid mistakes without learning from them (i.e. passing the ball to the opposition just outside our penalty area, not realising that crosses have to go to another team mate). This for example is a textbook Clichy mistake which had disastrous consequences for the match. 9 mins in
