I am late as I was making an internet course, and have wasted one half hour do this. I do not think I learned anything i needed to know except the system is changing.

We are all sad as we thought we could beat Króatía, but they were to strong. So now we get ready for the next european championship and HM2018.

But I do not believe the Prem is the best league. It might have the most cash floating around in it, but the overall quality is not that great and the games themselves are now mainly corporate entertainment or people coming over for a week-end and taking in a match. Compare this to Germany where the crowds of ordinary supporters are massive and the atmosphere at games must be cracking - and you can drink beer whilst watching the game. I read that last season for a big cup game, Dortmund had over 500k people apply for tickets! For me Germany has easily the best league in Europe and they have put together the required structures to nurture their young talent into world class players and that will be reflected in their continued success as a nation.

Hard luck Iceland, I am sure they gave it a good go though.

I don't think I will watch another England match, never seem to play the same players and as a result it looks a shambles. I agree we should get a group of 20 year olds together and let them gel with Zola in charge?

Agree on both counts - even though I didn't watch them last night. I watched some of the Norway v Scotland match before giving up in disgust - very poor standard from both. Switched over to watch the U21 match against San Marino & thought to myself "what would the score have been with GFZ in charge instead of Southgate?". 9-0 truly flattered San Marino - England could easily have doubled that at least.

The prem is the best league by virtue of the fact that there are more good teams than in other leagues...Germany, Spain...have 2 or 3 top teams followed by average..we have to look near mid table before we start finding teams that are not quite top teams..i think that makes the difference between the English leagues and others..

Morning all from a very cold but dry Weston-super-Mare. What a trip yesterday, I have not seen that amount of rain over that amount of time for years, if ever! I took my water-wings just in case! ;)

    Have a good day! <ok>

Morning all from a wet and windy Bandit Country - still off with some stomach issues, but catching up with some much needed documentation.
Just turned the cricket on, looks like a few Aussie journo's will be seething with Broad getting his first 5 for of this series. Another wicket as I type!
Thanks in advance for the frothy AK.

Filthy wet morning here, but further east they are suffering from heaps of snow, so will not complain.

The farmers are blocking the roads around Paris this morning in protest at the new taxes and regulations being brought in. Tragically a fireman has died in the process.

I have removed jerseypie as asked.

7C today and cloudy. At least some of the snow is going.

The government is trying to deport a Nigerian and the procedure is now lasting 22 months, this process should take 6 months at the longest. His girlfriend is now pregnant, but she is not Icelandic either. The man is accused of helping traffic people into Ísland. And we have people trying to keep him here. I suppose if he ever goes he will arrive in England and stay with you all at the British government's cost.

With the number of Scots living there, it'll almost be like home for you Al. :)

A bit closer to The Vic too - or even to Aidy's current team + Coventry if you prefer lower league stuff....

I am sure I have seen companies that will insure older folk cheaper than that, will see if I have a note somewhere.

I have always felt Saga were a bit of a con organisation making out they are for older folk but whenever I check them out they are always more expensive than elsewhere. Rip off mechants.

Rediculous, just put him on a plane back home with the folk who are trying to help him stay and just ignore the noise that will come with it - it will blow over. Many will quietly think you have done a good thing.
