I think Wenger may opt to not start Giroud, 2 big play off games, and if he fails to qualify for the WC, he'd be so demoralised, not to mention fatigued, both mentally and physically. For the CB pairing I'd probably even go with TV-Mert for this game too, as Kos will be demoralised too if they fail to qualify. Obviously if they qualify, different story, but Wenger may still opt to rest them.
Ok this demoralized stuff is being over-exaggerated. These guys aren't Arshavin. Kos didn't turn **** when he and Chez ****ed up in the CoC final. He won't now.
I think Giroud may need a rest, but if Kos is fit then we should definitely start with him, even though TV had a decent game at OT. I don't really buy into the demoralised stuff either to be honest. The are professionals and I'd wager that whilst they are proud to represent their country, their priorities are to help Arsenal to win games.
Oxlade Chamberlain suffered a setback in his rehabilitation. He'll only be back in mid December, now.
Not Arsenal injury news but figured it was an alright place to post it. Today i was hit by a lorry, span out over 3 lanes and crashed backwards into the central reservation before the on-comming cars narrowly stopped only feet from my car. Luckily i am alright (though my car is a write off). How is it, that i got hit by a lorry and get less time off from work than our injury prone players do!!!!!!!
Glad to hear you are OK. You may want to take a day off if you can anyway, many times whiplash and other injuries show up a day or two after an accident, don't know why. Certainly avoid drinking more than usual or strenuous work outs for a day or two, get plenty of rest. Good luck.
he is right. make sure you go and get checked out by doctor just in case. 3 years ago i was involved in a crash when someone drove into the side of my car. felt fine at the time but the next day couldnt move neck/back due to pain. 3 years later i am still taking pain killers !!
Cheers for all the good wishes and advice, it's very much appreciated Yeah it was a lucky escape, i couldn't believe i didn't have any serious injuries and neither could the paramedics. My car is totally wrecked, Had the M25 closed because of the accident. I have a video in my car for insurance so i have been able to re-watch myself being taken out by the lorry and then my view of the on-comming traffic! I can't believe no other cars hit me tbh, i had braced myself 100% expecting further collisions, on any other day i doubt i would have been so lucky! Now that the adrenaline has well and truely worn off i'm feeling some aches and pains but nothing that is worrying me so far, too much on at work to go to the doctor tomorrow morning but i might see if i can get a late appointment or head into A&E to get properly checked over.
Yes, something similar happened to me a few years ago, f***ing scary and the adrenalin gets you through - then a couple of days or so later you really start to feel like s***. Glad to hear you are ok, but take the advice and get yourself checked out thoroughly just to be sure.
