Anthony Knockaert is suspended after picking up his 5th booking of the season against Forest, but Ritchie De Laet should be fit to return. Chris Wood is also available again after missing the Forest game because of international duty so its pretty much a full team to pick from so here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    Moore
    Morgan
    Wasilewski

    De Laet
    Schlupp

    James
    Drinkwater
    Hammond

    Vardy
    Wood

Subs- Logan, Miquel, Konchesky, King, Dyer, Taylor-Fletcher, Nugent

It's not a team I think we're going to play; even I can pick a huge number of holes in it. I'd like to see De Laet at right midfield but agree it's a little experimental, but I think him and Moore could create a relationship similar to Dyer and Schlupp if they work on it. Not sure Wood's going to be picked, especially if his confidence is knocked after New Zealand's almost-certain eradication from the World Cup. But I think we should stick with the 4-4-2 that has generally served us well, let's all remember Watford. Realistically, I expect it to be basically the same team against Watford, though I'm not sure who'd take Knockaert's place. We really need another right winger; I don't think is going to be Mr. Knockaert's first suspension of the season (surprised he didn't get any last season tbh).

I dont think there will be anything wrong with Woods confidence. 2 goals in 2 games for us plus Mexico was expected to turn New Zealand over comfortably

It now sound like De Laet might not make it. Could Dyer and Schlupp play as wing backs or push Moore onto the right and bring Ignasi Miquel in alongside Wes and Wasilewski

The other option that hasn't really worked for us so far is start Wood, Nugent and Vardy in a 433

And to defend David Nugent abit he is not only our top scorer on 8 he also has the most assists with 5

If Knockys out and Pearson changes to wingbacks it will be Moore, Miquel, Wasil, Morgan and Schlupp/Konch along the back, with Moore moore than likely to be right wing back.

disappointed that he hasn't really had a look in, i think Konch will be off next season, so hopefully hes our reserve left back next season behind Schlupp.

Konch's contract is up and I find it highly unlikely he will get a new deal

Too expensive for the championship and he isnt good enough for the Prem

That 4-3-3 is ****e and wont work but I cant see any other way in which we can play 4-4-2 which works.

Schlupp left and dyer right? Dyer is far far better on the left though.

Dyer left and GTF on the right? GTF is overweight and slow though and probably a liability in a midfield 4.

Drinkwater has played there when he first joined - most likely.

Do we have an academy RM!?
