Well yeah, precisely. They shouldve made him that good offer in the first place. Even if he's appointed now he wont be officially taking the team on Satdee but the players will still be extra keen to impress.
As I said before Pulis won't want a relegation on his C.V. so maybe he's been weighing that up against getting back into the game?
I read an article recently whereby Pulis stated he was also quite open to managing a team in the lower leagues who he felt had potential (ahh that word brings back memories ) and that would give him a challenge. We'll see.
Still advanced talks this morning according to the Beeb. Apart from the players pulling their tripe out for a new manager, I doubt he will be having any impact on team selection / tactics at this late hour now.
You know we should win but will lose this weekend don't you? I usually am annoyingly optimistic about our chances but really not looking forward to this game as much as I should be.
We are definitely going to get arse ****ed by Palace. Then we'll swap form and we'll go in a slump and Palace will overtake us. And then Hull Tigers will be getting crowds of 3000 in the championship whilst there's a huge waiting list for North Ferriby tickets.
