Looking for an excuse not to go Christmas shopping ? Gillingham have announced reduced ticket prices for this game. £10 for adults. £5 for under 18 and £1 for under 12. I cannot find anything to say that it doesn't apply to away fans - and the prices are a damned sight better than the usual rip off for away fans at Priestfield stadium. They will even post your tickets - included in the £1 admin fee. Tel 01634 300000 (option 1). If you're tempted - and decide to drive to Gillingham - DON'T ignore the resident parking notices near the ground - the vultures will give you a ticket.
Thanks Angry camel Have thought about coming but, the way Posh are playing at the mo, driving the 10 mins to town seems too far
I will also add that if any posh fans want a meet, send me a PM, clearly only resident Posh fans that i know from here or the old BBC606. Also Simply Posh if you do decide to come down a free ticket is on offer for two. However, sadly i'm not sure if i can arrange that in the away end but i can always find out.
How come away supporters have to pay full price surely that's not allowed same price for home and away or so I meant to believe Last time I went there ground was dire stood on a pile of concrete which was open to the elements and your right about the traffic wardens like a load of vultures
Concrete?...your be so lucky...your complaining but that would be a luxury. When did you last come to Priestfield...lol
last time was and only time must been 20 years ago cant remember if it was 2.1 to the gills or 1.1 cant honest say the ground very good bit like London road now needed a face lift Stand corrected about prices of tickets
For those travelling down Saturday...http://www.footballgroundguide.com/gillingham/ As alwaysright said in the OP, don't ignore the residents parking zones, the camera vans will get you. Although there is parking at the Rainham End of the ground if you don't mind a 10/15 minute walk. The Cricketers is HOME fans only. The AWAY fans use the Livingstone Arms but I believe it was shut a few weeks ago but might be reopened now, can't be sure. During its closure, Kent Police were previously directing away supporters to the Town Pubs. I will try and find an update later for you. Alternatively if you are driving, you can find this place on the top main road (A2) although probably a bit to far to walk afterwards...http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/brewersfayre/our-pubs/kent/honourable-pilot.html Any questions give us a shout and we'll try and help out.
assuming this twitter account is genuine. The usual designated AWAY Pub is now open again... The Livingstone Arms ‏@TheLivvyarms 20h @theposhdotcom The Livingstone Arms looks forward to seeing you Saturday 14th Dec, Designated away pub for @TheGillsFC I noticed Kent Police are following the account, so i guess it must be genuine...lol
